جلالة الملك المعظم القائد الأعلى للقوات المسلحة يستقبل قائد القيادة المركزية للقوات الأمريكية

استقبل حضرة صاحب الجلالة الملك حمد بن عيسى آل خليفة ملك البلاد المعظم القائد الأعلى للقوات المسلحة حفظه الله ورعاه، بحضور سمو الشيخ عبدالله بن حمد آل خليفة الممثل الشخصي لجلالة الملك المعظم والفريق الركن سمو الشيخ ناصر بن حمد آل خليفة مستشار الأمن الوطني قائد الحرس الملكي، والعقيد الركن سمو الشيخ خالد بن حمد آل خليفة قائد قوة الحرس الملكي الخاصة، في قصر الصافرية هذا اليوم الفريق أول مايكل كوريلا قائد القيادة المركزية للقوات الأمريكية بمناسبة زيارته للمملكة.
ورحب جلالة الملك المعظم بقائد القيادة المركزية الأمريكية، وأعرب عن اعتزاز مملكة البحرين بعلاقاتها الاستراتيجية والشراكة التاريخية الوثيقة التي تجمعها مع الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية الصديقة، والمبنية منذ عقود طويلة على الثقة والاحترام المتبادل والتعاون والتنسيق المشترك، مشيداً جلالته بالتقدم المستمر الذي يشهده التعاون الثنائي لاسيما في الميادين العسكرية والدفاعية لتحقيق كل الأهداف والمصالح المشتركة.
ونوه صاحب الجلالة بأهمية الدور المحوري الذي تضطلع به الإدارة الأمريكية بالتعاون مع الدول الحليفة والصديقة في ترسيخ دعائم الأمن والسلم والاستقرار الإقليمي والعالمي، معرباً رعاه الله عن تقديره لجهود الفريق أول مايكل كوريلا في تطوير التعاون البحريني الأمريكي في المجال العسكري والدفاعي.
وأشاد جلالته بالجهود الطيبة التي تقوم بها قوات البحرية الأمريكية لحماية الملاحة الدولية وتأمين إمدادات النفط والتجارة العالمية في الخليج، منوها بالتعاون الدفاعي البناء القائم بين البلدين للحفاظ على الأمن والاستقرار الإقليمي والمصالح العالمية.
كما تم خلال اللقاء تبادل وجهات النظر بشأن التطورات الإقليمية والدولية بما فيها مستجدات الأوضاع في المنطقة.
ومن جهته، أعرب قائد القيادة المركزية الأمريكية عن شكره وتقديره لجلالة الملك المعظم القائد الأعلى حفظه الله واعتزازه بجهود جلالته في توثيق روابط الصداقة التاريخية وتعزيز التعاون العسكري مع بلاده، مشيداً بالدور الحيوي لمملكة البحرين وإسهاماتها المهمة في حفظ أمن واستقرار المنطقة ، كما حضر اللقاء سعادة الدكتور عبداللطيف بن راشد الزياني وزير الخارجية وسعادة الفريق الركن ذياب بن صقر النعيمي رئيس هيئة الأركان.
