الجمعية العمومية لجراحة الجهاز الهضمي في روما تنتخب محمد عبدالوهاب رئيسًا لها

انتخبت الجمعية العمومية لجراحة الجهاز الهضمي والأورام في روما الدكتور محمد عبدالوهاب أستاذ جراحة الجهاز الهضمي والكبد بجامعة المنصورة والمشرف على فريق زراعة الكبد بالجامعة بالإجماع رئيسا لها وتمنحه الزمالة الفخرية العالمية.
جاء ذلك بحضور أكثر من 2000 عالما في مجال جراحة الجهاز الهضمي والكبد والأورام من 70 دولة تم انتخاب العالم المصري الدكتور محمد عبدالوهاب أستاذ جراحة الجهاز الهضمي والكبد بجامعة المنصورة والمشرف على فريق زراعة الكبد بالجامعة تم انتخابه رسميا بالإجماع رئيسا لمجلس إدارة الجمعية العالمية لجراحة الجهاز الهضمي والاورام لمدة عامين حتى 2025 .
كما تم منح الدكتور محمد عبدالوهاب الزمالة الفخرية العالمية جاء ذلك خلال اجتماع الجمعية العمومية اليوم في العاصمة الإيطالية "روما" .
كما وافقت الجمعية العمومية على تنظيم مصر للمؤتمر الدولي (الكونجرس العالمي) لجراحى الجهاز الهضمي والكبد وذلك في نوفمبر من العام القادم 2024 .
وجاء اختيار ممثل مصر رئيسا للجمعية ومنحه الزمالة الفخرية نظرا لجهوده وأبحاثه وتميزه العالمي في هذا التخصص .
كما تم انتخاب نائب رئيس مجلس الادارة وامين صندوق وسكرتير الجمعية من تركيا واليابان وإيطاليًا واعضاء مجلس الادارة من الولايات المتحدة الامريكية واليابان وايطاليا وفرنسا وألمانيا وكوريا الجنوبية ورومانيا.
كما جاء اختيار مصر لاستضافة المؤتمر نظرًا لمكانتها الدولية المرموقة وأيضا الاستقرار السياسي والأمني الذي تنعم به.
