أمير المنطقة الشرقية يستقبل الرئيس التنفيذي لهيئة تطوير محمية الملك عبدالعزيز الملكية

استقبل صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز أمير المنطقة الشرقية، في مكتبه اليوم، الرئيس التنفيذي لهيئة محمية الملك عبدالعزيز الملكية المهندس ماهر عبدالله القثمي.
وقدّم القثمي لسمو أمير المنطقة الشرقية شرحًا عن الاستراتيجية الجديدة “المحدثة” للهيئة، التي تتماشى مع أهداف رؤية المملكة 2030، والمستهدفات الاستراتيجية الشاملة للمحميات الملكية، ومبادرة “السعودية الخضراء”، التي تهدف إلى تعزيز التنوع البيئي والتنمية المُستدامة.
كما قدم عرضًا حول المحمية التي تبلغ مساحتها أكثر من 28 ألف كيلومتر مربع، إضافة إلى أهدافها والإنجازات المُحققة في الفترة “2023- 2024″، التي نجحت في حماية الحياة الفطرية والنباتية، وتعزيز استدامة الموارد الطبيعية في المحمية، واستعادة التوازن البيئي، وتنشيط السياحة البيئية.
