كشف الدكتور أحمد عامر الخبير الأثري، تفاصيل بدء مشروع دراسة وتوثيق إعادة تركيب الكساء الخارجي لهرم منكاورع، مشيرا إلى أن هذا المشروع يستغرق 3 سنوات.

وأوضح الخبير الأثري أن المشروع يستهدف إعادة تطوير الغلاف الخارجي للهرم، مضيفا الملك منكاورع حكم البلاد لمدة تتراوح من 18 إلى 22، وهو خامس ملوك الأسرة الخامسة، وابن الملك خفرع.

ويُعد مشروع إنارة الممشى إحدى المبادرات النوعية التي تتبناها البلدية لدعم أنماط الحياة الصحية، وتحفيز سكان المحافظة على تبني عادات رياضية إيجابية، وذلك في إطار جهودها الحثيثة للارتقاء بمستوى الخدمات العامة وتحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة.
وأكد المهندس المطيري حرص البلدية على مواصلة تنفيذ المشاريع الخدمية والترفيهية التي تسهم في تحسين المشهد الحضري وتوفير مرافق متكاملة تلبي تطلعات السكان.
