ساويرس: مصر أغنى دولة في المنطقة العربية لكنها تواجه مشاكل داخلية كثيرة

أكد رجل الأعمال المصري نجيب ساويرس أن مصر تعتبر أغنى دولة في المنطقة العربية، إلا أنها تواجه العديد من المشاكل الداخلية التي ساهمت في تعميقها فترة الحكم الاشتراكي التي شهدتها البلاد في عهد الرئيس الراحل جمال عبد الناصر.
وخلال افتتاح صالون إحسان عبد القدوس الثقافي الذي يُقام سنويًا في القاهرة، أشار ساويرس إلى أن الفقر والتحديات الاقتصادية التي تعاني منها مصر في الوقت الراهن تعود إلى السياسات الاشتراكية التي تم تطبيقها في منتصف القرن الماضي، بما في ذلك التأميم والمصادرة التي أدت إلى تدهور كثير من القطاعات الحيوية في البلاد، ووضعت قيودًا على النمو الاقتصادي.
وأوضح أن هذه السياسات كانت سببًا رئيسيًا في تأثير الأداء الاقتصادي على المدى الطويل، ما أدى إلى تراكم المشكلات الاقتصادية والاجتماعية التي لا يزال المصريون يعانون منها حتى اليوم.
وعلى الرغم من هذه التحديات، فقد أبدى ساويرس تفاؤله بشأن المستقبل، وقال إنه يثق في قدرة الحكومة المصرية الحالية على التغلب على هذه المشاكل، مشيرًا إلى أن الحكومة بدأت بالفعل في اتخاذ خطوات جادة لحل المشكلات، بما في ذلك تحسين البيئة الاستثمارية، والعمل على مشاريع تهدف إلى جذب الاستثمارات وتحسين الاقتصاد.
ومن ناحية أخرى تناول ساويرس في حديثه التأثيرات السلبية للصراعات الإقليمية على الاقتصاد المصري، خصوصًا تلك التي تتعلق بالحرب في غزة، والتي ألقت بظلالها على النشاط التجاري والاقتصادي في المنطقة.
وأوضح أن "الأزمة في غزة ساهمت في تراجع السياحة، إضافة إلى التأثيرات السلبية على التجارة البحرية، خصوصًا في البحر الأحمر، وهو ما عطل بعض مسارات الشحن الرئيسية".
وأعرب عن أمله في أن تساهم الإصلاحات الاقتصادية التي تطرحها الحكومة في حل هذه التحديات، مشيرًا إلى أهمية التشجيع على الابتكار والمرونة في مواجهة الأزمات الاقتصادية المتزايدة.
وأكد ساويرس أن مصر تتمتع بالكثير من الموارد الطبيعية والبشرية التي يمكن أن تدفعها إلى الأمام إذا ما تم استغلالها بشكل أمثل.
واعتبر أن الإرادة السياسية والإصلاحات المستمرة هما مفتاح التغلب على أي أزمة اقتصادية قد تواجهها الدولة.
تجدر الإشارة إلى أن صالون إحسان عبد القدوس الثقافي يُعدّ حدثًا ثقافيًا سنويًا يهدف إلى تعزيز الحوار الثقافي وتبادل الآراء بين الشخصيات العامة من مختلف القطاعات في المجتمع المصري.
