استقبل صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير عبدالعزيز بن سعد بن عبدالعزيز أمير منطقة حائل بمكتبه اليوم، الأمين العام لمؤسسة حفظ النعمة الأهلية عبدالله بن عبدالرحمن بن سعيد ، وأمين المنطقة سلطان بن حامد الزايدي.

وتحدث سموه خلال الاستقبال عن جهود الدولة في رعاية المشاريع النوعية والتي منها المشروع الأول من نوعه على مستوى المملكة الذي يختص بالعربات المتنقلة لجمع الفائض من الأطعمة بإمكانيات حديثة ومتقدمة ، مشيداً بالدور الذي تقوم به الجمعية وأمانة المنطقة لإيجاد الحلول العملية للحد من الهدر الغذائي بما يتماشى مع الممارسات اليومية والمجتمعية ، معرباً عن شكره لهذه المبادرة النوعية ، متطلعاً لتعاون الجميع من أجل تحقيقها مستويات نجاح أعلى.
إثر ذلك دشن سمو أمير حائل عربات استلام فائض الطعام المتنقلة في المنطقة التي اعتمدتها جمعية حفظ النعمة الأهلية ، بالتعاون مع إمارة وأمانة المنطقة ، وجمعية حفظ النعمة في حائل ، والتي تأتي للحد من الهدر الغذائي في المملكة، والتمكين المستمر لجمعيات حفظ النعمة للقيام بدورها في حفظ الفائض من الأطعمة وإيصاله للمحتاجين ، بدعم من سمو أمير حائل ، ومتابعة الأمين العام للمؤسسة ، بحيث تسعى المؤسسة لإيجاد الحلول العملية للحد من الهدر الغذائي في المملكة فيما يتماشى مع الممارسات اليومية والمجتمعية.
واطلع سموه على العربات وطريقة عملها ، مستمعاً إلى شرح مفصل عنها ، حيث تستمر هذه العربات بالتنقل بين جميع متنزهات مدينة حائل لتستقبل بقايا الطعام طوال اليوم، و تتيح للأفراد سهولة الوصول إليها، ومن ثم توجيه هذا الفائض والاستفادة منه تبعاً لنوعه وجودته.
ومن جهته أكد الأمين العام لمؤسسة حفظ النعمة الأهلية أهمية هذه الخطوة ومساهمتها في الحد من ظاهرة هدر الطعام في المتنزهات بعد ما تم تداوله، مشيداً بالدور المهم لأمانة منطقة حائل وتعاونهم في إتمام هذا التدشين وهذه الخدمة المتميزة.
