حضر المريض إلى مركز العيون المستشفى، وهو يعاني من تأثر حاد بالرؤية، وعلى الفور قام الدكتور أمين نوار استشاري الشبكية و الجسم الزجاجي بمركز العيون في مستشفى المواساة بالدمام، بالكشف على المريض وتبيَّن وجود انفصال شبكي كامل وقطع كبير بشبكية العين حيث تم إجراء أشعة سونار على العين وعمل التحاليل والفحوصات الطبية اللازمة وتحضير المريض للإجراء الجراحي المناسب.
