الصومال يطلب عقد اجتماع طارئ لوزراء الخارجية العرب لبحث الانتهاكات الإثيوبية

أعلن السفير الياس شيخ عمر أبو بكرٍ سفير جمهورية الصومال الفيدرالية لدى مصر والمندوب الدائم لدى جامعة الدول العربية، أن الصومال تقدم بطلب إلى الجامعة العربية لعقد اجتماع طارئ لمجلس جامعة الدول العربية على مستوى وزراء الخارجية العرب لبحث تداعيات إبرام مذكرة تفاهم بشكل غير قانوني الموقع بين إثيوبيا وإقليم أرض الصومال، تمنح بموجبه استغلال 20 كيلومتر شمال غرب الصومال في البحر الأحمر، مؤكدا على ضرورة اتخاذ موقف عربي موحد للرد على الانتهاك الصارخ الذي قامت به إثيوبيا ضد سيادة ووحدة أراضي جمهورية الصومال الفيدرالية.
وشدد مندوب الصومال بالجامعة العربية على موقف بلاده الرافض لتلك الخطوة واعتبرها عملا عدوانيا يهدد حسن الجوار والتعايش السلمي والاستقرار في المنطقة التي كانت تئن من وطأة نزاعات وتوترات مختلفة.
كما نوه أن تلك الإجراءات الأحادية الجانب من قبل إثيوبيا تشكل تهديدا للأمن القومي العربي والملاحة في البحر الأحمر، وهي محاولة تهدف للنيل من سيادة واستقلال ووحدة جمهورية الصومال الفيدرالية، داعيا الدول العربية للوقوف بجانب الصومال في الدفاع عن سيادته وسلامة أراضيه وفقا للقرارات والقوانين الدولية.
و أكد مندوب الصومال بالجامعة العربية، على أهمية الالتزام بقواعد حسن الجوار من أجل تعزيز السلام والأمن والاستقرار في منطقة القرن الإفريقي، مؤكدا أن هذه الخطوة التي أقدمت عليها اثيوبيا تمثل انتهاكا صارخا للسيادة الصومالية وتزيد من تأجيج الأوضاع بالمنطقة، محذرا من خطورة وتداعيات هذه الخطوة وانعكاساتها.
