حصل مطار دبي الدولي على اعتماد مجلس المطارات الدولي ضمن برنامجه لاعتماد تحسين إمكانات الوصول – وهي المبادرة الأولى من نوعها التي تكرّم جهود المطارات العالمية الملتزمة بتسهيل إجراءات السفر للمسافرين من أصحاب الهمم.يمثل الاعتماد اعترافاً بالجهود المستمرة التي يبذلها مطار دبي الدولي وحرصه على تحقيق تجربة سفر شاملة وآمنة للمسافرين من أصحاب الهمم من ذوي الإعاقات المرئية وغير المرئية. وتأتي هذه الجهود تماشياً مع قرار الجمعية العامة لمجلس المطارات الدولي واتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لعام 2019 والمتعلقة بحقوق الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، واللذان ينصّان على حق جميع الأشخاص من أصحاب الهمم الذين يعانون من الإعاقات على اختلاف أنواعها التمتع بكافة الحقوق والحريات الأساسية.
ومن خلال إطلاق خطة متكاملة تتضمن عدة مراحل وتستمر لمدة عامين للارتقاء بتجربة السفر لأصحاب الهمم، نجح مطار دبي الدولي في إثبات كفاءته في توفير تجربة شاملة وسلسة لجميع المسافرين، والزوار، وكبار المواطنين، والعاملين في المطار. وتضمن ذلك إطلاق مخطط شامل لاستعدادات ما قبل السفر، وتصميم ممر صديق للمصابين بالتوحد، وتنفيذ برنامج تدريبي واسع النطاق للعاملين في المطار.
تتماشى هذه المبادرة المبتكرة من مطار دبي الدولي والتي تحمل شعار "نرى العالم بمنظور مختلف"، مع رؤية الحكومة لتحويل دبي لمدينة صديقة لأصحاب الهمم، ودعم جهود تعزيز الوعي بالمسافرين من أصحاب الهمم من ذوي الإعاقات المرئية وغير المرئية.
وقال ماجد الجوكر، الرئيس التنفيذي للعمليات في مطارات دبي: "تلتزم مطارات دبي بتوفير تجربة شاملة في المطار، بالتنسيق والتعاون مع كافة الشركاء الإستراتيجيين لضمان تطوير الخدمات والمرافق وتوظيفها للارتقاء بتجربة المسافرين من أصحاب الهمم وتوفير سبل الراحلة لهم خلال رحلتهم في دبي. ونهدف من خلال هذه الخطوة إلى تلبية احتياجات أصحاب الهمم في جميع المراحل ومختلف نقاط الاتصال عبر مطارنا، وخاصة أولئك من ذوي الإعاقات غير المرئية مثل التوحد أو التعب المزمن أو الألم المزمن. ويأتي الحصول على اعتماد مجلس المطارات الدولي ليكون شهادة على ما أحرزناه من نجاح حتى الآن، وترسيخ جهودنا فيما نواصل منح الأولوية لحقوق أصحاب الهمم كجزء لا يتجزأ من تجربة العملاء".
وأضاف قائلاً: "تحقق دبي الريادة في جعل السفر أكثر شمولية من خلال تطوير بنية تحتية متكاملة بما يشمل تخصيص ممر يعطيهم الأولوية عند تسجيل الوصول أو مراقبة الجوازات أو نقاط التفتيش الأمني، وتُتاح هذه الخدمات والمرافق لأصحاب الهمم من ذوي الإعاقات غير المرئية ضمن برنامج شريط دوار الشمس. وسنواصل العمل لتحقيق الأهداف التي وضعتها دبي وقيادتها من أجل مجتمع يحرص على إدماج أصحاب الهمم وتمكينهم وإزالة العقبات من طريقهم". يُذكر أن اعتماد مجلس المطارات الدولي، والمصمم لمساعدة المطارات على قياس وتقييم وتحسين إمكانات الوصول لديها، هو البرنامج الدولي الوحيد المخصص لتسهيل إمكانات السفر وتحسين تجربة المسافرين من أصحاب الهمم. ويوفر البرنامج منصة تستطيع المطارات من خلالها استعراض التزامها بتطبيق أفضل الممارسات العالمية والتوصيات المختصة في هذا المجال أمام المسافرين والجهات التنظيمية وقطاع الطيران، لتكون أساساً تواصل منه المطارات نهجها لتوفير تجربة سفر سلسة".
