مريض يخرج من مستشفى المواساة بالخبر يمشي على قدميه بعد أن كان معدًا للبتر في مستشفى آخر

بحمد الله وتوفيقه، تمكَّن الفريق الطبي في مستشفى المواساة بالخبر من إنهاء معاناة رجل يبلغ من العمر ٤٥ عامًا، من مرض السكري مع تهديد ببتر القدم.
وكان المريض قد وصل إلى المستشفى قادمًا من إحدى مؤسسات الرعاية الصحية بالمنطقة الشرقية، حيث كان يعاني من تسمم شديد في أنسجة القدم، تصلب الشرايين، وحالة غير مستقرة من مرض السكري، الذي اكتُشف حديثًا.

كان قد اتخذ قرار ببتر القدم اليمنى فوق الركبة في عدة مستشفيات، لكن فريق مستشفى المواساة بالخبر، بإشراف د. كريستيان جرجس، استشاري الأوعية الدموية، استقبل الحالة وبدأ في رحلة العلاج بالتعاون مع قسم جراحة التجميل، أجريت عملية تنظيف جراحي للساق، تلاها تدخل من فريق جراحة التجميل بإشراف د. سائد الحبيب، حيث تم إنقاذ القدم باستخدام تقنيات التنظيف، الجلد الصناعي، الحقن الإنعاشي للأنسجة، والترقيع الجلدي. وقد استقرت حالة مرض السكري للمريض بعد متابعة دقيقة من فريق الأمراض الباطنية بإشراف د. أمل أبو السعود.
