إحصائيات كرنفال بريدة للتمور.. نخيل بالملايين ومئات الأطنان من التمور

يستعرض فرع وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة بمنطقة القصيم في كرنفال بريدة للتمور، إحصائيات النخيل بالمنطقة وطرق معالجة النخيل ومكافحة "سوسة النخيل الحمراء" وأسباب انتشارها.

وأكّدت الإحصائيات الصادرة من فرع وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة بمنطقة القصيم؛ أن المنطقة تحتضن 12,327 مزرعة بداخلها أكثر من 11 مليونًا و200 ألف نخلة تنتج 320 ألف طن سنويًا.

واشتمل المعرض على أهم عمليات مراقبة حشرة "سوسة النخيل الحمراء" ومراحل حياتها، وطرق مكافحتها، والتواصل مع المهتمين في القطاع الزراعي في سبيل تعزيز دور النخلة ومنتجها المهم، والمحافظة على النخيل من الآفات ومكافحتها في شتى الطرق والوسائل، واطلاع المزارعين على الممارسات الزراعية الجيدة والآمنة، كما يضم أهم منتجات النخلة وفوائد التمور المتعددة للإنسان، إضافة إلى استعراض عددٍ من المجسمات لها.

ويستعرض فرع وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة بمنطقة القصيم من خلال الكرنفال المنتجات الثانوية للتمور والصناعات التحويلية التي تستخرج من النخلة وثمارها من الدبس، وصناعة الخل والخميرة، والمربيات، كما تمتد أيضًا إلى صناعة الأعلاف، واستخدام جذوع النخيل في صناعة الأثاث والخشب ودعامات الأسقف، والليف الذي يستفاد منه في صناعة الحبال والفرش والدواسات، وصناعة التربة الصناعية وغيرها من الصناعات التحويلية النافعة للنخلة.
