قال القائم بأعمال وزارة الخارجية الإيرانية، إن تبادل الرسائل بين طهران وواشنطن مستمر كما في الماضي من دون توقف.
وأكد نائب الرئيس الإيراني، محسن منصوري، على منصة «إكس» وفاة الرئيس إبراهيم رئيسي في حادث تحطم المروحية.
وأفادت وكالتا «مهر» و«تسنيم» للأنباء، بأن الرئيس الإيراني إبراهيم رئيسي ووزير الخارجية والوفد المرافق لهما لقوا حتفهم جميعا في حادث تحطم الطائرة الهليكوبتر.
وقالت وسائل الإعلام الإيراني، إن بعض الجثث التي كانت في الطائرة، احترقت جراء تحطم المروحية، ولا يمكن التعرف على هويتها.
وقد تعرضت المروحية التي تقل الرئيس الإيراني لحادث في منطقة غابات ديزمار بين قريتي أوزي وبير داود.
وكانت المروحية تقل أيضا وزير الخارجية حسين أمير عبد اللهيان، ومحافظ أذربيجان الشرقية، وإمام الجمعة في تبريز.
وأشار محسن منصوري المساعد التنفيذي للرئيس الإيراني، إلى أن فرق الإنقاذ تواصل البحث حتى شعاع كيلومترين من منطقة الحادثة، متمنيا أن "تصل أخبار سارة إلى المواطنين في أقرب وقت".
