“أمانة جدة” تستضيف ورشة عمل لمناقشة الممارسات العالمية في مجال الحوكمة

استضافت أمانة محافظة جدة، اليوم بمقرها الرئيس, ورشة عمل “الممارسات العالمية في مجال الحوكمة المؤسسية”، والتي نظمتها الإدارة العامة للحوكمة والالتزام بوزارة الشؤون البلدية والقروية والإسكان في إطار جهودها لتأكيد التوجه الإستراتيجي لدعم أعمال الحوكمة.
وقدم الورشة التي تأتي ضمن مجموعة الورش التي تنظمها الوزارة، المدير العام للحوكمة والالتزام بالوزارة الدكتور سلطان السجان، بحضور عدد من مسؤولي القطاعات والإدارات ذات العلاقة في الجهتين.
وجرى خلال الورشة مناقشة أفضل الممارسات العالمية في مجال الحوكمة المؤسسية وطرق تطبيقها والعمل بها، وتقييم الوضع الراهن لأدوات وتطبيقات الحوكمة داخل الأمانة ودعم أعمالها، بجانب تطوير حوكمة العلاقة داخل المنظومة وخارجها.

وتعكس هذه الجائزة التزام "الأول" بدمج قيم الممارسات البيئية والاجتماعية والحوكمة المؤسسية في أعماله، وتقاريره المتعلقة بالاستدامة، وتواصله مع المساهمين. وتُجسد استراتيجية البنك في هذا المجال تركيزه على خلق قيمة طويلة الأمد، مع دعم مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030، إلى جانب الأهداف العالمية للتنمية المستدامة.

من الجدير بالذكر أن "الأول" قد عزز خلال العام الماضي تقاريره المتعلقة بالممارسات البيئية والاجتماعية والحوكمة المؤسسية، وعزز جهوده في مجال التمويل الأخضر، ودعم برامج تمكين المجتمعات، كما عقد شراكات استراتيجية مع مؤسسات رائدة لتعزيز الابتكار المستدام بما في ذلك في مجالات الزراعة التجديدية، والطاقة النظيفة، والتكنولوجيا المالية.
وفي إطار جهوده في مجال التمويل الأخضر، أصدر البنك أول صكوك خضراء من الشريحة الأولى الإضافية بقيمة 650 مليون دولار أمريكي، حيث ستُخصص عائداتها لتمويل مشاريع بيئية مؤهلة. وتُعد هذه الصكوك أول إصدار يحمل تصنيف "أخضر" من قبل بنك في المملكة، وذلك بما يتماشى مع مبادئ الشريعة الإسلامية وأطر التمويل الأخضر العالمية، وقد حصلت على رأي طرف خارجي مستقل من وكالة التصنيف العالمية إس أند بي جلوبال.
وتأتي هذه الجائزة استكمالًا لسلسلة من الجوائز التي حصل عليها البنك، بما في ذلك جائزة برنامج الاستدامة لعام 2024 ضمن ملتقى الأسواق المالية، وجائزتا أفضل بنك في المملكة وأفضل بنك خاص من يوروموني.
ويواصل "الأول" ريادته كأول بنك في المملكة يطبّق استراتيجية شاملة للاستدامة، تتضمن التزامه بالوصول إلى صافي انبعاثات تشغيلية صفرية بحلول عام 2035، وصافي انبعاثات صفرية شاملة للانبعاثات المموّلة بحلول عام 2060. كما يهدف البنك إلى تخصيص 34 مليار ريال سعودي بحلول عام 2025، تأكيدًا على التزامه بدعم الطموحات الاستراتيجية للمملكة.
