عاجل نيابةً عن الملك.. وزير الخارجية يرأس وفد المملكة المشارك في قمة بريكس بلس 2024

نيابةً عن خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود - حفظه الله -، ترأس صاحب السمو الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله وزير الخارجية، في مدينة قازان الروسية، اليوم، وفد المملكة المشارك في قمة بريكس بلس 2024 كدولة مدعوة للانضمام لمجموعة دول بريكس.
وألقى سمو وزير الخارجية خلال القمة كلمة نقل فيها تحيات خادم الحرمين الشريفين، وصاحب السمو الملكي ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء - حفظهما الله - إلى فخامة الرئيس فلاديمير بوتين رئيس روسيا الاتحادية وقادة دول مجموعة "بريكس"، معربًا عن تقديره لحفاوة الاستقبال وكرم الضيافة.

وفيما يتعلق بالشأن الدولي، أعرب سمو وزير الخارجية عن قلق المملكة من تصاعد التوترات العالمية، وقال: "في الوقت الذي نحن أحوج ما نكون فيه لمواجهة التحديات العالمية، نشهد تصاعدًا للتوتر وتناميًا للاستقطاب والمحاور، مما يضعف من مرونة وفاعلية المنتديات متعددة الأطراف، وتدعم المملكة تعزيز المؤسسات الدولية لضمان تلبية احتياجات جميع الدول".
وتناول سموه في كلمته المستجدات في غزة، مشيرًا إلى أن استمرار العدوان الإسرائيلي يشكل تهديدًا خطيرًا للأمن الإقليمي والدولي، وأن التصعيد الحالي قد امتد ليشمل الجمهورية اللبنانية، كما حذر من أن استمرار هذا النزاع سيؤدي إلى تفاقم الأوضاع في المنطقة، مشددًا على ضرورة الوقف الفوري لإطلاق النار، وتقديم المساعدات الإنسانية دون عوائق، والإفراج عن الرهائن، والالتزام الجاد بتحقيق سلام دائم.
وأشار إلى جهود المملكة الرامية لإحلال السلام في المنطقة ومنها إطلاق المملكة الشهر الماضي لمبادرة "التحالف الدولي لتنفيذ حل الدولتين" بالتعاون مع شركائها الدوليين، مبينًا أن منح الفلسطينيين حق تقرير المصير هو السبيل الوحيد لتحقيق السلام المستدام، ومثمنًا تضامن دول مجموعة "بريكس" للقضية الفلسطينية، ودعمهم لحل يستند إلى إقامة دولة فلسطينية مستقلة على حدود 1967 وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية.
وأكد سمو وزير الخارجية في ختام كلمته أن المملكة ستواصل تعزيز شراكاتها مع مجموعة دول "بريكس" وتوسيع آفاق التعاون في المجالات كافة، سعيًا لتحقيق التنمية والازدهار على المستوى الدولي.
