بفضل الله نجح مستشفى الدكتور سليمان الحبيب بالخبر، في إنقاذ حياة مراجع بالعقد الرابع من العمر، خلال وقت قياسي، إذ عانى من جلطات حادة أدت لشعوره بنوبات من الألم الشديد في منطقتي الصدر والظهر، ذكر ذلك الدكتور أمجد عبيد استشاري ورئيس قسم الطوارىء.
والذي أضاف بأن المراجع وصل قسم الطوارىء بعد منتصف الليل، إثر تعرضه بشكل مفاجيء لفقدان في الوعي وضيق في التنفس، على الفور تم تركيب أجهزة التنفس الإصطناعي وتقديم الإسعافات الأولية، وتفعيل "كود بلو" الخاص بحالات الإنعاش القلبي الرئوي، ومن ثم البدء في استخدام أحدث أجهزة الإنعاش حتى عاد النبض بشكل تدريجي على مدى الـ 45 دقيقة، وعلى الفور تم إجراء فحوصات تخطيط القلب "E.

C.G" ، وعدداً من التحاليل المخبرية اللازمة.

وقال الدكتور أمجد العبيد أن جهود الفريق الطبي تكللت بالنجاح بدون أية مضاعفات ولله الحمد، وأن السرعة والإحترافية العالية التي تعامل بها أطباء أقسام الطوارىء والعناية المركزة والقلب والتخدير أسهمت في إنقاذ حياة المراجع، والذي إستطاع باليوم الثالث تناول الطعام والمشي ، وخرج من المستشفى وهو بصحة جيدة، بعد أن انتهت كافة الأعراض السابق ذكرها، مشيراً إلى أنه تم وضع برنامج للمتابعة الدورية في قسم القلب بالمستشفى، وذلك للإطمئنان على حالته الصحية.
