ظهر والد الطالب محمد القاسم وهو يرفع الأذان في مسجد قريب من موقع مقتل ابنه في بريطانيا.
وكان والد الطالب الضحية قد وصل إلى بريطانيا، لمتابعة استلام جثمان ابنه، فيما تواصل السفارة السعودية في المملكة المتحدة متابعة ملابسات الحادث، وتنسق مع الجهات ذات العلاقة لإنهاء إجراءات تسليم الجثمان لذويه.
وكانت السلطات البريطانية قد ألقت القبض على رجلين عقب مقتل القاسم، على خلفية الحادث الذي استُدعيت له الشرطة في حديقة ميل مساء الجمعة الماضي، ويدرس القاسم في مدرسة “إي أف” الدولية للغات في كامبريدج، في مسار تدريبي يستغرق قرابة عشرة أسابيع.

وقد أثار حادث مقتله المؤلم تفاعلًا واسعًا في منصات التواصل الإجتماعي، وسط مطالبات بتكثيف الجهود الدبلوماسية لمتابعة تفاصيل القضية ومحاسبة الجناة.
