بدأت بمقر المنظمة العربية للتربية والثقافة والعلوم (ألكسو) بالعاصمة التونسية، أعمال الاجتماع رفيع المستوى لرؤساء المجالس التربوية العربية.
وترأس وفد المملكة في الاجتماع وكيل وزارة التعليم للتعليم العام الدكتور حسن خرمي.

وأشار إلى أهم توقعات وطموحات الأطراف ذات العلاقة مع قطاع التعليم العام، موضحا التركيز على الرحلة التعليمية للطالب من منظور المعارف والقيم والمهارات.

وأضاف أن الاستراتيجيات المعتمدة في المملكة تعتمد على بناء منظور شمولي لربط رحلة النظام التعليمي، حيث جرى استهداف رفع نسب الالتحاق بالتعليم في مرحلة رياض الأطفال واستهداف رفع وصول الخدمات للفئات الخاصة، مستعرضاً أهم النتائج التي تحققت في المجال.

وشدد وكيل وزارة التعليم للتعليم العام على أن المملكة حققت في السنوات الأخيرة نتائج هامة على مستوى جودة التعليم، ما انعكس إيجاباً على ترتيب المؤسسات التعليمية السعودية في الترتيب العالمي.
