"فارس": الإفراج عن 9 بحارة إيرانيين من سجون سريلانكا

أفرجت السلطات السريلانكية يوم الأربعاء عن 9 بحارة إيرانيين من أهالي مدينة جابهار، فيما سيتم قريبا نقل مسجونين اثنين إلى بلادهما في إطار تبادل المحكومين بين البلدين.
وأفادت وكالة "فارس" بأنه إثر المحادثات التي أجراها وزير الخارجية الإيراني، حسين أمير عبد اللهيان، مع نظيره السريلانكي في طهران، والإعلان عن الافراج عن المسجونين لدى البلدين في المستقبل القريب في إطار التعاون الانساني وجهود السفارة الإيرانية في كولومبو، تم للمرة الأولى في العلاقات القنصلية بين إيران وسريلانكا، الإفراج عن 9 بحارة إيرانيين من أهالي مدينة جابهار بمحافظة سيستان وبلوجستان (جنوب شرق إيران)، بإيعاز من السلطات السريلانكية، حيث تم تسليمهما إلى السفارة الإيرانية لدى كولومبو.
وذكرت "فارس" أن البحارة سيعودون قريبا إلى بلادهم وعائلاتهم، كما سيتم خلال الأيام القليلة القادمة، نقل اثنين من المسجونين الإيرانيين إلى البلاد في إطار اتفاقية لتبادل المحكومين بين البلدين، والجهود التي بذلتها الخارجية الإيرانية ووزارة العدل.
ورأت وزارة الخارجية الإيرانية أن من برامجها الأساسية وإجراءاتها الجادة، متابعة موضوع الحصول على عفو أو الإفراج عن المسجونين الإيرانيين وتبادلهم والدفاع عن حقوقهم القانونية والقنصلية خارج البلاد.
