نائب أمير مكة المكرمة يتوج الفائزين في الأشواط الختامية لمهرجان ولي العهد للهجن

توج صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير بدر بن سلطان بن عبدالعزيز نائب أمير منطقة مكة المكرمة، بحضور صاحب السمو الأمير فهد بن جلوي نائب رئيس اللجنة الأولمبية والبارالمبية رئيس الاتحاد السعودي للهجن, الفائزين في الأشواط الختامية لمهرجان ولي العهد للهجن بنسخته الخامسة، الذي ينظمه الاتحاد السعودي للهجن على ميدان الطائف التاريخي.
وجاء ذلك التتويج نيابة عن صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء -حفظه الله.
وفازت المطية “مبلش” لمالكه عاطف بن عطيه القرشي بالشوط الأول، فيما فازت المطية “عجيب” لهجن الشحانية من قطر بالشوط الثاني، وحازت المطية “نجدين” لمالكها القطري ناصر عبد الله المسند على المركز الثالث، فيما تفوقت المطية “الشاهنيه” لهجن العاصفة من الإمارات بالشوط الرابع.
وأقيم في اليوم الختامي (4) أشواط، على مسافة 6 كيلو مترات، شاركت بها نخبة المطايا وسط تنافس كبير من قبل ملاك الهجن في دول الخليج.
وحظيت النسخة الحالية من المهرجان، التي انطلقت في الأول من أغسطس الماضي بمشاركة محلية، عربية، ودولية واسعة، من ملاك ومؤسسات الهجن الكبرى وجوائز مالية تتجاوز الـ 57 مليون ريال، حيث شهد السباق التمهيدي إقامة 350 شوطًا، من خلال فئات (مفاريد، حقايق، لقايا، جذاع، ثنايا، حيل وزمول).
فيما انطلق السباق النهائي في الـ 28 من الشهر ذاته بـ 240 شوطاً، واستمر لمدة 11 يومًا، تضمن إقامة سباق (الماراثون) بعدد خمسة أشواط، وإقامة شوط الماراثون النسائي الدولي لأول مرة في تاريخ المهرجان.
ويحقّق المهرجان عوائد اقتصادية كبرى، من خلال تنظيم العديد من الفعاليات المصاحبة التي تدعم هذا الموروث، وتسهم في المحافظة على قيمته وإرثه التاريخي الكبير، مما يعزز من العمق الحضاري للمملكة إلى جانب تأصيل تراث الهجن في الثقافة السعودية والعربية والإسلامية.
