أطلقت هيئة تقويم التعليم والتدريب المرحلة الثانية من "برنامج جاهزية"، وهو أحد مبادراتها الوطنية للإسهام في تحقيق مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030؛ الذي يهدف إلى رفع جاهزية خريجي الجامعات السعودية القادرين على المنافسة عالمياً، وتعزيز المواءمة مع متطلبات سوق العمل.

ويعنى البرنامج الذي يستهدف عقد اختبارات معيارية لـ 24 تخصصاً جامعياً في يناير 2024م، بتقييم طلبة البكالوريوس المتوقع تخرجهم خلال العام الدراسي الحالي 2023 / 2024 في البرامج الجامعية للتخصصات المستهدفة وهي: خمسة تخصصات في الإدارة والعلوم الاجتماعية والسلوكية والرياضيات والإحصاء، تشمل كلا من: علم الاقتصاد، وإدارة الأعمال، ونظم المعلومات الإدارية، والموارد البشرية، والعلوم الإكتوارية، وستة تخصصات في الهندسة والحرف الهندسية، تشمل كلا من: الهندسة المدنية، والهندسة الصناعية، والهندسة الكهربائية، والهندسة الكيميائية، والهندسة الميكانيكية، والعمارة، بالإضافة الى تطبيق الاختبارات المعيارية لتخصصات المرحلة الأولى من البرنامج وعددها ثلاثة عشر تخصصاً وتشمل تخصصات المالية،

والمحاسبة، والتسويق، والتمويل والاستثمار، والمخاطر والتأمين، والمصارف الأسواق المالية، وهندسة الحاسب، وعلوم الحاسب، وهندسة البرمجيات، ونظم المعلومات، وتقنية المعلومات، والذكاء الاصطناعي، والأمن السيبراني/ أمن المعلومات.
ويتم ذلك من خلال اختبارات معيارية بالتعاون مع الجهات والهيئات الوطنية ذات العلاقة، ويضمن الإطار التخصـصي ونتائج الاختبارات المعيارية في متطلبات الاعتماد الأكاديمي البرامجي وفي مؤشرات التصنيف السعودي العالمي لمؤسسات التعليم العالي "صقر".

ويسهم البرنامج في تحقيق 16 هدفاً متعلقاً بالتعليم من أهداف المستوى الثالث لرؤية المملكة 2030؛ وسينتج عن البرنامج مجموعة مخرجات معرفيّة في مقدمتها الأطر المعرفية للمعارف والمهارات التخصصية في عدة مجالات، المبنية على دراسة وافية لأفضل الممارسات الدولية، وتغذيتها بالاحتياجات الوطنية، كما سيتم قياس جودة مخرجات البرامج الأكاديمية من خلال نتائج الاختبارات المعيارية والاعتماد الأكاديمي.
