انطلاق «مهرجان العلا للتمور» في نسخته الرابعة سبتمبر المقبل

أعلنت الهيئة الملكية لمحافظة العلا عن انطلاق مهرجان العلا للتمور في نسخته الرابعة ابتداءً من 8 سبتمبر إلى 11 نوفمبر 2023م.
ويأتي انعقاد النسخة الرابعة للمهرجان استمرارًا لمسيرة تميز، أصبحت من خلاله تمور العلا تشكل علامة بارزة في مهرجانات التمور في المملكة، وهو ما يحقق تنافسية لها في مختلف الأسواق المحلية والإقليمية والعالمية، وفق ما تنص عليه "رؤية العلا" المتماشية مع رؤية المملكة 2030؛ الهادفة إلى تعزيز دور المملكة لتصبح المصدر الأكبر للتمور على مستوى العالم.
ويتميز المهرجان هذا العام بمشاركات أوسع من مواقع مختلفة في العلا، حيث يُقام أيام الجمعة والسبت من كل أسبوع، وذلك على مرحلتين، تُخصص الأولى في الفترة الصباحية للمزاد التجاري من 8 سبتمبر إلى 28 أكتوبر، من الساعة السادسة وحتى التاسعة صباحًا، في موقع المزاد الجديد بحي العزيزية.
وستُخصص المرحلة الثانية خلال الفترة المسائية لسوق التمور، الذي يُقام في "سوق المنشية" ابتداءً من 13 أكتوبر وحتى 11 نوفمبر، وذلك من الخامسة عصرًا وحتى الحادية عشرة مساءً، حيث سيضم السوق فعاليات تتيح للعائلات والزوار لقاء المزارعين والأسر المنتجة والفنانين المحليين، والاستمتاع بالمأكولات المعدّة بمختلف أنواع التمور.
ويوفر موقع المهرجان الجديد، الفرصة لاستقطاب عددٍ أكبر من المشاركين وزيادة جاذبية الزوار، ويتيح كذلك الفرصة لمزارعي العلا؛ لعرض منتجاتهم واللقاء مع المهتمين بقطاع التمور من المشترين والمستثمرين من داخل المملكة وخارجها، حيث استقطبت نسخة العام الماضي أكثر من 15 ألف زائر.
ويتيح المهرجان المجال للمزارعين للتسجيل على علامة التمور السعودية، وهي علامة تجارية مسجلة يتم منحها للمنتجين الذين تتطابق منتجاتهم مع المتطلبات الفنية والقياسية التي يحددها المركز الوطني بالاعتماد على اشتراطات الأسواق العالمية وأفضل الممارسات الدولية، كما سيتم اختيار عددٍ من مزارعي العلا للمشاركة في المؤتمر والمعرض الدولي للتمور الرابع في الرياض في نهاية العام 2023م.
وتُعد تمور العلا رافدًا اقتصاديًا إستراتيجيًا لمزارعيها، وتمتد مزارع النخيل فيها على مساحة 10 آلاف هكتار، وتنتشر بين أرجائها أكثر من مليوني نخلة، ويتجاوز إنتاجها السنوي من التمور 90 ألف طن، حيث تتفرد العلا بتاريخٍ غنيّ في زراعة التمور وتجارتها، وتشتهر بعددٍ من الأنواع المحلية مثل: المبروم، والبرني، والحلوة، والمجدول، وحقق سوق التمور في العلا انتعاشًا كبيرًا في السنوات الماضية، لتصبح إحدى أبرز المنتجين في المنطقة.
