الهيئة الملكية لمدينة الرياض تعلن إنشاء مركز المناطق الاقتصادية الخاصة بالرياض

أعلن مجلس إدارة الهيئة الملكية لمدينة الرياض، اليوم، عن إنشاء مركز المناطق الاقتصادية الخاصة بمدينة الرياض؛ لتعزيز القدرة التنافسية للأعمال في العاصمة، وتحويلها إلى مركز إقليمي رئيس للشركات العالمية وتعزيز أثرها الاقتصادي كواحدة من أكبر اقتصاديات المدن في العالم، والإسهام في تحقيق مستهدفات رحلة التحول الوطنية التي تهدف إلى تنويع الاقتصاد الوطني.

وستكون الهيئة الملكية لمدينة الرياض الجهة المختصة بالإشراف على المناطق الاقتصادية الخاصة في مدينة الرياض من خلال المركز، حيث سيوجد المركز بيئة تنافسية تسهم في نمو الاقتصاد.
ويتمتع مركز المناطق الاقتصادية الخاصة بمدينة الرياض باستقلال مالي وإداري، إذ يعمل المركز على إطلاق المناطق الاقتصادية الجديدة في مدينة الرياض، وإصدار التراخيص للمستثمرين في المناطق الاقتصادية الخاصة، وتقديم خدمات شاملة وفق معايير وأسس أفضل الممارسات الدولية.

وسيسهل المركز استقطاب الكفاءات والخبرات الوطنية والعالمية مع الأعمال والشركات الجديدة في المناطق الاقتصادية الخاصة بمدينة الرياض، مما يسهم في تعزيز الفرص في مدينة الرياض وإيجاد بيئة استثمارية جاذبة، وتشكيل إطار تنظيمي تنافسي للأنشطة الاقتصادية المختلفة، ودعم جهود الرياض؛ لتصبح واحدة من أكبر اقتصادات المدن في العالم، كما سيقوم المركز وهيئة المدن والمناطق الاقتصادية الخاصة بالتنسيق فيما بينهما بشأن خطط إنشاء المناطق الاقتصادية بما يضمن المواءمة والاستفادة من الخبرات المتوفرة لدى الجهتين، إضافة إلى ذلك سيسهم المركز في رفع تنافسية الرياض، حيث ستتنافس المناطق الاقتصادية الخاصة الجديدة التي سيطلقها المركز مع المناطق الاقتصادية العالمية، من خلال تقديم الحوافز الجاذبة وتنظيم الأنشطة الاقتصادية للمناطق الاقتصادية الخاصة.
