واطلع واستمع سموه إلى إيجاز عن أعمال الجامعة ومستجدات التطوير والمشروعات الإنشائية والتطوير الأكاديمي والخطط المستقبلية الهادفة لمواكبة رؤية المملكة 2030 ، والبرامج المزمع تنفيذها لمواءمة مخرجات الجامعة مع احتياجات سوق العمل الحالية.
كما استقبل نائب أمير منطقة مكة المكرمة، في مقر الإمارة بجدة، قائد حرس الحدود بالمنطقة اللواء فهد بن ماجد الدعجاني.
واستمع سموه إلى إيجاز عن أعمال الجهاز بالمنطقة وحماية الحدود البرية والبحرية وتأمين الواجهات البحرية للموانئ والمنشآت الحيوية الواقعة على ساحل البحر الأحمر ، كذلك الدور الفعال في ضبط المهربين والتصدي لعمليات التهريب إضافة للإجراءات والاحتياطات الأمنية لوقف عمليات التسلل بالإضافة لأعمال رجال حرس الحدود في عمليات البحث والإنقاذ ومهام غرفة إدارة اليخوت والسفن السياحية وما تقدمه من خدمات إلكترونية للسياحة البحرية.
