التقى سمو ولي العهد الأمير محمد بن سلمان، الرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون، على هامش انعقاد القمة الخليجية الأوروبية في العاصمة البلجيكية بروكسل.
وتم استعراض أوجه التعاون بين المملكة وفرنسا في مختلف المجالات، على هامش اللقاء، وسبل تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة بين البلدين.
كما تم مناقشة القضايا الإقليمية والدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك، وخصوصًا ما يتعلق بالتطورات الجيوسياسية في منطقة الخليج وأوروبا.
كما التقى سمو ولي العهد على هامش القمة رئيس الوزراء اليوناني، كيرياكوس ميتسوتاكيس.
وتأتي القمة الخليجية الأوروبية في إطار تعزيز التواصل والتعاون بين دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي والاتحاد الأوروبي، بالإضافة إلى تقوية الشراكات مع الدول الكبرى مثل فرنسا، لضمان تحقيق الاستقرار والتنمية في المنطقة.
