إنفاذًا لتوجيهات خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، وصاحب السمو الملكي الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود، ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء -حفظهما الله- بدأ الفريق الطبي والجراحي السعودي لعمليات فصل التوائم السيامية، صباح اليوم، عملية فصل التوأم السيامي البوركيني "حوى وخديجة" بنتيّ راسماتا سوادوغو وعمرهما 17 شهرًا، وذلك في مستشفى الملك عبدالله التخصصي للأطفال بمدينة الملك عبدالعزيز الطبية بوزارة الحرس الوطني في الرياض.

وأوضح معالي المستشار بالديوان الملكي المشرف العام على مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية رئيس الفريق الطبي والجراحي السعودي لعمليات فصل التوائم السيامية الدكتور عبدالله بن عبدالعزيز الربيعة، في تصريح صحفي، أن التوأم السيامي البوركيني "حوى وخديجة" بنتيّ راسماتا سوادوغو قدمتا إلى المملكة مطلع شهر يوليو الماضي، وبعد دخول التوأم إلى مستشفى الملك عبدالله التخصصي للأطفال، قام الفريق الطبي بإجراء فحوصات دقيقة ومتعددة لهما وعقد عدة اجتماعات توصل من خلالها إلى أن التوأم يلتصقان في منطقة أسفل الصدر والبطن، ولديهما اشتراك في غشاء القلب والكبد والأمعاء.
أخبار متعلقة أدناها 13.. اعرف درجات الحرارة اليوم الخميس بمناطق المملكةبعد الدمام والخبر.. مواقف مجانية لمرتادي أسواق وسط بريدةوبين أنه نظرًا لحجم الالتصاق، قرر الفريق الطبي تجهيز التوأم من قبل مختصين في جراحة التجميل بوضع بالونات لتمديد الجلد لتسهيل عملية إغلاق الفراغ بعد الفصل، ومن المقرر أن تجرى العملية على 5 مراحل وتستغرق حوالي 8 ساعات -بإذن الله-، ويشارك فيها 26 من الاستشاريين والاخصائيين والكوادر التمريضية والفنية من تخصصات التخدير وجراحة الأطفال وجراحة التجميل وبقية التخصصات المساندة، مشيرًا إلى أن هذه العملية تعد من العمليات الدقيقة ونسبة نجاحها -بمشيئة الله- تزيد على 80%.
وأكد أن التحديات التي تواجه الفرق الطبي تكمن في حجم الاشتراك بالأمعاء وغشاء القلب لكن بتوفيق الله ثم بخبرة الفريق الجراحي السعودي سوف تكلل بالنجاح بإذن الله.
وأفاد الدكتور الربيعة أن هذه العملية تعد رقم 62 للبرنامج السعودي لفصل التوائم الملتصقة، حيث استطاع البرنامج السعودي خلال 35 عامًا أن يعتني بـ 146 توأمًا سياميًا من 27 دولة من الدول الشقيقة والصديقة، لافتًا إلى أن البرنامج السعودي لفصل التوائم الملتصقة أصبح يتصدر الخبرة العالمية ومُعْتَرفًا به على المستوى الدولي بدلالة تخصيص الأمم المتحدة يومًا عالميًا للتوائم الملتصقة، وهو يوم 24 نوفمبر من كل عام، وقال: إن هذا النجاح لم يأت لولا توفيق الله سبحانه تعالى ثم الدعم والتوجيه المتواصل من خادم الحرمين الشريفين وسمو ولي عهده الأمين.
