مدير مكتبة الإسكندرية يستقبل وفد جمعية الامارات للمكتبات والمعلومات

استقبل الدكتور أحمد زايد، مدير مكتبة الإسكندرية في مكتبه وفدًا من أعضاء مجلس إدارة جمعية الامارات للمكتبات والمعلومات، برئاسة فهد علي المعمري.
هذا وقد أكد الدكتور زايد، خلال اللقاء، انفتاح مكتبة الإسكندرية على التعاون مع كبريات المكتبات العالمية، بما في ذلك المكتبات التي أنشئت في دول منطقة الخليج العربي، وأشاد بالطفرة النوعية التي شهدها قطاع المكتبات في تلك الدول.
وأضاف زايد: أن العالم كله يأخذ برؤية جديدة تتعلق بوظيفة المكتبة، وبأنها وعاء لنشر المعرفة، وإتاحة العلم، والتشجيع على القراءة، مشيرًا إلى أن مكتبة الإسكندرية لديها مراكزها البحثية، ومجلاتها العلمية المحكمة، مثلها مثل أعرق المكتبات على مستوى العالم.
وجاء ذلك بحضور كلً من الدكتور محمد سليمان القائم بأعمال نائب مدير المكتبة، وهبة الرافعي القائم بأعمال قطاع العلاقات الخارجية والإعلام بمكتبة الإسكندرية.
وعقب اللقاء تبادل الدكتور أحمد زايد الهدايا التذكارية مع الضيوف، وبعد ذلك تفقد أعضاء الوفد بجولة مكتبة الإسكندرية
