البحرين تؤكد ضرورة وقف القتال والتوصل لحل سياسي بين فلسطين وإسرائيل

أكدت وزارة الخارجية البحرينية ضرورة الوقف الفوري للقتال الدائر بين حركة حماس وقوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، مشددة على دعم الجهود الرامية إلى وقف القتال والتصعيد، والتوصل إلى حل سياسي عبر الحوار والمفاوضات وتسوية سلمية نهائية للصراع وفقا لحل الدولتين وقرارات الشرعية الدولية.
وأعربت الوزارة -في بيان- عن استنكار المملكة لما ورد في بعض التقارير عن اختطاف المدنيين من منازلهم كرهائن، وعن أسفها البالغ للخسائر الكبيرة في الأرواح والممتلكات وعن تعازيها لأسر الضحايا، وتمنياتها للمصابين بالشفاء العاجل، مطالبة بوقف التصعيد وتجنب العنف الذي يهدد الأمن والاستقرار الإقليمي وينذر بعواقب وخيمة على المنطقة.
كما طالبت وزارة الخارجية بضرورة تدخل المجتمع الدولي والقيام بمسئولياته لوقف القتال وتوفير الحماية الكاملة للمدنيين الذين لا يجب أن يكونوا هدفا للصراع بموجب القانون الإنساني الدولي، والدفع بجهود تحقيق السلام والاستقرار والأمن لجميع شعوب المنطقة، محذرة من التصعيد الخطير الذي يهدد حياة المدنيين.
