عاجل/ المساحة الجيولوجية: رصد هزة أرضية صباح اليوم الخميس بقوة 4.40 على مقياس ريختر

أكد المتحدث الرسمي لهيئة المساحة الجيولوجية السعودية طارق أبا الخيل بأن محطات الشبكة الوطنية للرصد الزلزالي بمركز المخاطر الجيولوجية رصدت صباح اليوم الساعة ٦:٥٢:٢٩ هزة أرضية وسط البحر الأحمر بقدر زلزالي بلغ ٤,٤٠ درجة على مقياس ريختر وعمق ٣٢ كيلو متر.
وأوضح بأن سبب هذا الزلزال يعود إلى الفالق الموجود في البحر الأحمر والذي يمثل الحد الغربي للصفيحة العربية وتباعدها عن الصفيحة الافريقية.
