أدّى صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير الدكتور فيصل بن مشعل بن سعود بن عبدالعزيز أمير منطقة القصيم صلاة الاستسقاء مع جموع المصلين في جامع الأمير عبدالإله بحي الصفراء بمدينة بريدة .
وأمّ المصلين الشيخ جابر الناصر، الذي أكد في خطبته أن نزول المطر من رحمة الله بعباده، مذكراً بأهمية تقديم الصدقات والنوال والقربات لله سبحانه وتعالى ، والتفريج عن المسلمين ، داعياً إلى كثرة الاستغفار والإنابة وتجديد التوبة ، ثم شرع في دعائه ورجائه من الله طلب الرحمة وأن ينزل المطر النافع الغير ضار الذي يسقي به البلاد والعباد والحاضر والباد.
كما أدّى الصلاة مع سموّه عدداً من المشايخ والمسؤولين في المنطقة.
وقد أديت الصلاة في محافظات ومراكز وقرى المنطقة كافة.
