وأكدت المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني، أن فرق الإطفاء قد باشرت بالفعل الحريق الذي شب في محل تجاري.
وأوضحت أن أعمال الإخماد لا تزال مستمرة حتى ساعة إعداد هذا الخبر، حيث تعمل الفرق بكامل طاقتها للسيطرة النهائية على الحريق وتبريد الموقع بشكل كامل لضمان عدم تجدد الاشتعال.
وطمأنت مديرية الدفاع المدني بالأحساء الجمهور بأنه لم تسجل أي إصابات بشرية جراء الحريق حتى الآن، مؤكدة أن الأولوية القصوى في مثل هذه الحوادث هي لسلامة الأرواح.
