وشاهد سموه عرضاً مرئياً لأبرز الإنجازات وفيلماً قصيراً يحكي قصة التعافي التي يمر بها مريض السرطان ويبين مراحل فترة العلاج وجهود العاملين للوصول للشفاء بإذن الله تعالى.
فيما استعرض المدير التنفيذي للجمعية عصام بن أحمد الجعفري، رؤية الجمعية منذ تأسيسها، والجهود التي تبذلها لرعاية المرضى وتوفير جميع الاحتياجات اللازمة ورفع جودة الخدمات المقدمة والحرص على تأمين أحدث الأجهزة للكشف المبكر عن السرطان، حيث نجحت الجمعية في تقديم الخدمات لأكثر من ٢٥ ألف مستفيد ووصل إجمالي عدد زوار الكشف المبكر عن سرطان الثدي بمركز مي الجبر إلى ١٨ ألف سيدة.
ونوه بالدعم والمساندة الذي يحظى به العمل الخيري في المنطقة بشكل عام والجمعية خصوصاً من سمو أمير المنطقة الشرقية، والداعمين والجهات والشركات للارتقاء بجودة الخدمة وتحقيق الأهداف بكفاءة عالية للمساهمة في نجاح منظومة العمل الخيري.
وتسلم سمو أمير المنطقة الشرقية لوحة تذكارية من صاحبة فكرة إنشاء جمعية السرطان السعودية بالمنطقة الشرقية ياسمين يعقوب الخواشكي.
وشهد سموه، توقيع عدد من الشراكات مع مجموعة الدكتور سليمان الحبيب الطبية والجمعية السعودية لأبحاث الأورام (داعم) وجمعية مشورة إضافة لمجموعة دان للفعاليات وتنظيم المعارض والمؤتمرات، تهدف للمساهمة في تطوير أعمال الجمعية ورفع مستوى الخدمات المقدمة للمرضى والمستفيدين.
وفي ختام الحفل تم تكريم المؤسسين والداعمين وشركاء النجاح.
