رأس صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير سعود بن بندر بن عبدالعزيز نائب أمير المنطقة الشرقية رئيس مجلس إدارة مؤسسة “تطوير جزيرة دارين وتاروت” اليوم الاجتماع الرابع لمجلس إدارة المؤسسة في مقر هيئة تطوير المنطقة الشرقية بالخبر، بحضور أصحاب المعالي وأعضاء المجلس.
وأكد سموه خلال الاجتماع أهمية الجهود المبذولة لتطوير جزيرة دارين وتاروت وفق رؤية طموحة، تركز على تعزيز المقومات الاقتصادية والتراثية والسياحية، مشيرًا إلى أن هذه الجهود تسهم في تحقيق مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 من خلال استثمار الإمكانات التاريخية والبيئية للجزيرة، وتعزيز جودة الحياة فيها.
وأوضح أن المؤسسة تعمل على إحياء المواقع التاريخية والبيئية في الجزيرة، بما يتماشى مع تطلعات القيادة الرشيدة، ودعمها غير المحدود لتطوير ونماء جميع مناطق ومحافظات المملكة. من جانبه، بين الرئيس التنفيذي المكلف للمؤسسة عبدالله بن
يذكر أن التوجه التنموي المعتمد للجزيرة يهدف إلى رفع تنافسية الجزيرة، ورفع مستوى التنمية وجودة الحياة فيها، ودعم الناتج المحلي بإيجاد المزيد من فرص العمل، والإسهام في الحفاظ على المواقع البيئة والتاريخية، والاستفادة من الميزات النسبية تماشيًا مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 في تحقيق اقتصاد مزدهر.
