تجمع الرياض الصحي: 8 خطوات تساهم في الوقاية من القدم السكري

يمكن أن يقلل مرض السكري من تدفق الدم إلى القدمين ويتسبب في فقدان الإحساس المعروف باسم اعتلال الأعصاب السكري، وقد يعني هذا أن إصابات القدم لا تلتئم جيداً ويتم ملاحظة فقدان الإحساس أي عدم الشعور بالجروح والقروح التي تصيب القدم.
الوقاية من القدم السكري
وقال تجمع الرياض الصحي الأول في انفوجراف توضيحي نشره عبر حسابه الرسمي على موقع "تويتر" إنه يمكن الوقاية من الإصابة بالقدم السكري من خلال اتباع الخطوات التالي:
- تأكد من عدم وجود جسم صلب بداخل الحذاء قبل ارتدائه.
-تجنب ارتداء الأحذية الضيقة.
- الحرص على تجفيف القدمين بمنشفة نظيفة خصوصاً بين الأصابع.
- افحص القدمين يومياً ويمكنك الاستعانة بمرآة صغيرة لرؤية باطن القدم.
- استخدام كريم مرطب لتجنب تشقق القدم.
- تجنب السير حافي القدم ولو لمسافة قصيرة.
- احرص عند قص الأظافر حتى لا تجرح الأصابع.
- الحرص على ضبط مستوى السكر بالدم.
الحفاظ على نسبة السكر في الدم
- اتباع النظام الغذائي الموصوف لك.
- تناول الوجبات في مواعيدها.
- التخلص من الوزن الزائد.
- قياس معدل السكري باستمرار.
- ممارسة الرياضة وخاصة المشي (مع ضرورة حمل بطاقة تشير إلى أنك مريض سكري).
- الإكثار من تناول الألياف الغذائية.
- الابتعاد عن السكريات بجميع أنواعها وأشكالها.
- عدم تناول الأغذية التي تحتوي على نسبة عالية من الكوليسترول والدهون.
- قراءة الحقائق الغذائية قبل الشراء.
- استبدال الحليب ومنتجاته كاملة الدسم بخالية الدسم.
علامات الإصابة بالسكري
- خشونة الجلد وزيادة سماكته خاصة في الذراعين.
- بقع داكنة في الجزء الخلفي من الرقبة أو تحت الإبطين أو ثنايا الجلد.
- التهابات جلدية وتقرحات متكررة.
- حكة وجفاف الجلد.
- العطش الشديد والجوع الشديد.
