Posted by ‎حسن حمورو‎ on Monday, September 25, 2023

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) warned today, Monday, that the collapse of the healthcare system in the Gaza Strip is putting all residents at risk.

Israel Considers Reestablishing Permanent Jewish Presence at Joseph’s Tomb in Nablus

For the first time since the Second Intifada, the Israeli army is considering the possibility of reestablishing a permanent Jewish presence at Joseph's Tomb, located in the heart of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, 25 years after its evacuation.

According to a report by Yedioth Ahronoth on Monday, the Israeli Central Command is working on preparing an official plan for the practical feasibility of this move, which is expected to be presented in the coming weeks.

This issue had been frozen due to the recent conflict with Iran, but it has recently resurfaced.

Norwegian Pension Fund Blacklists Two Companies Supplying Weapons to the Israeli Army

The Norwegian government pension fund, one of the largest sovereign wealth funds in the world, decided on Monday, June 30, 2025, to blacklist several companies that supply the Israeli army with weapons used in the war on the Gaza Strip.

The fund confirmed in a statement, reported by Bloomberg, that it has excluded the American company Oshkosh and the German company Thyssenkrupp from its investment list due to their involvement in providing the Israeli occupation with equipment and weapons that may be used in severe human rights violations in Gaza.

This decision was based on a report from the United Nations, which warned that supplying weapons to Israel could expose these companies to the risk of complicity in war crimes and systematic violations of international humanitarian law.

Israeli Army Targets Over 11 Displacement Centers in Gaza During June

The Government Media Office in Gaza announced on Monday that Israeli occupation forces targeted more than 11 displacement centers throughout June, describing the attacks as a crime that reflects the occupation’s blatant disregard for international law.

In a press statement, the office stated, "During June alone, the occupation deliberately targeted over 11 displacement centers as part of an organized crime that demonstrates its flagrant contempt for international law and humanitarian agreements."

As a result, the total number of displacement and shelter centers targeted by the occupation since the start of the war has risen to 256 centers, which house more than 700,000 displaced individuals. These people have been deprived of basic necessities after the occupation destroyed their homes and residential units across Gaza, making the new attacks on their shelters a compounded crime.

Gaza Health Ministry: 28 Killed and 223 Injured in the Last 24 Hours

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Monday that 28 people, including 3 martyrs retrieved from the rubble, were killed, and 223 others were injured in the past 24 hours.

In its daily report, the ministry stated that the total number of casualties to date has reached 56,531 dead and 133,642 injured since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023.

The ministry confirmed that several victims are still trapped under the rubble and in the streets, while ambulance and civil defense teams are unable to reach them due to continuous shelling and the dangerous field conditions.

Israeli Occupation Allows Wedding Celebration for Settlers Inside Al-Aqsa Mosque Courtyards

On Monday, Israeli occupation forces allowed a wedding celebration for settlers to take place inside the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, a move described as "provocative and humiliating," marking a new chapter in the ongoing Judaization of the holy site.

The Jerusalem Governorate stated in a press release that today’s transformation of Al-Aqsa Mosque into what resembled a public celebration hall for settlers constitutes a "blatant violation of the mosque’s sanctity, a dangerous provocation of Muslim feelings, and a deliberate attempt to impose a new reality that erases the Islamic identity of the place and paves the way for its temporal and spatial division."

The statement emphasized that what is happening at Al-Aqsa is part of a systematic policy aimed at altering its landmarks and enforcing Israeli sovereignty over it by force, asserting that these repeated violations contradict international law and UNESCO resolutions, which regard Al-Aqsa Mosque as a purely Islamic heritage site.

Israeli Massacre Targets "Resthouse" on Gaza Beach

On Monday, June 30, 2025, the Israeli army committed another massacre by targeting civilians at a resthouse (café) on Gaza City's beach.

According to a medical source at Shifa Hospital, 33 people, mostly women and children, were martyred, with others injured, some in critical condition, in an Israeli airstrike on the "Al-Baqa" resthouse on Gaza City's beach.

Local sources also confirmed that among the martyrs was journalist Ismail Abu Hatab, while journalist Bayan Abu Sultan was injured, with her condition now stable.

With the martyrdom of Abu Hatab, the toll of journalists martyred since the beginning of the genocide war on Gaza 21 months ago rises to 228 journalists.

Palestinian Detainee Martyred at Soroka Israeli Hospital

Administrative detainee Louay Faisal Mohammed Nasrallah (22 years old) from Jenin was martyred at Soroka Israeli Hospital on Monday morning after being transferred from Negev Prison.

The Palestinian Prisoners' Affairs Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners' Club confirmed that Nasrallah had been detained administratively since March 26, 2024, adding him to the list of martyrs from the prisoners' movement who have fallen due to the systematic crimes committed by the Israeli occupation's prison system. These crimes include torture, medical negligence, and starvation.

They pointed out that with Nasrallah’s martyrdom, the number of martyrs among prisoners and detainees since the ongoing genocide began has risen to 73, with only the identities of those known publicly, as the crime of enforced disappearance continues. This period in the history of the prisoners' movement and our people is marked by unprecedented bloodshed. Therefore, the number of known martyrs among the prisoners since 1967 has reached 310.

Cabinet Split Over the Future of the War in Gaza

Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation (KAN 11) reported on Monday, June 30, 2025, that political leadership is engaged in "sensitive discussions regarding the future of the war in Gaza," amidst a divide within the security cabinet and the military establishment about the direction of the conflict.

According to KAN 11, the disagreements revolve around whether to pursue a prisoner exchange deal or continue military control over additional areas of Gaza. This could involve occupying further regions and solidifying the presence of Israeli forces in the positions they have held over the past weeks.

In this context, Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi and prisoner file coordinator Nitzan Alon, during the cabinet discussions, stated that "deepening the incursion into Gaza could endanger the lives of Israeli prisoners," a message Kochavi repeated in his summary of the session, according to KAN 11.

However, these warnings did not go unnoticed. Channel 13 reported that discussions in the Prime Minister’s office in the past two days were "heated," with a sharp disagreement between the Chief of Staff and military representatives on one side, and Netanyahu’s government ministers on the other.

According to the report, Kochavi told ministers that "continuing the war in its current form endangers the prisoners," noting that their situation "has deteriorated in recent weeks." This warning angered far-right ministers Itamar Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich, who accused the military of "imposing a political path on the leadership."
