استقبل صاحب السمو الأمير سعود بن عبدالله بن جلوي محافظ جدة، في مقر المحافظة اليوم، الأبطال الفائزين بالميداليات في دورة الألعاب السعودية 2023 من أندية الأهلي، والاتحاد، وجدة يونايتد، ونادي الصم بجدة، ونادي ذوي الإعاقة بجدة، بحضور مدير فرع وزارة الرياضة بمنطقة مكة المكرمة عبدالعزيز بن عبود ورؤساء ومنسوبي الأندية.

وهنأ سموه في بداية اللقاء إدارات ولاعبي الأندية والجهازين الفني والإداري بمناسبة فوزهم بالميداليات، متمنياً لهم التوفيق والمزيد من الإنجازات في المشاركات القادمة.
يُذكر أن دورة الألعاب السعودية 2023 التي أقيمت في الرياض خلال الفترة من 25 نوفمبر وحتى 10 ديسمبر الحالي، شارك فيها أكثر من 6000 رياضي تنافسوا في 53 رياضة فردية وجماعية، تتضمن 6 ألعاب خصصت للرياضات البارالمبية، و 4 رياضات استعراضية، و 12 رياضة في بطولة الألعاب السعودية للشباب, حقق الأهلي المركز الرابع في الدورة برصيد 36 ميدالية منها (11 ذهبية، 12 فضية، 13 برونزية) فيما حقق فريق الاتحاد المركز الخامس في الدورة برصيد 39 ميدالية منها (8 ذهبيات، 9 فضيات، 22 برونزية).

بينما حقق فريق جدة يونايتد الميدالية الذهبية في منافسات كرة السلة للسيدات، وتوّج فريق خماسيات كرة القدم بنادي الصم بجدة بالميدالية الذهبية, وأخيراً حقق لاعبو نادي ذوي الإعاقة بجدة خمس ميداليات مختلفة ( ذهبيتين وفضية وبرونزيتين).
