مستشفى الدكتور سليمان الحبيب بالخبر يستأصل ورماً ضخماً من دماغ طفل ويُنهي معاناته المستمرة مع الصداع والألم

نجح مستشفى الدكتور سليمان الحبيب بالخبر، في إجراء عملية دقيقة ومعقدة لإستئصال ورم ضخم بدماغ طفل يبلغ من العمر 10 سنوات، بعد أن تسبب له بمضاعفات شديدة والتعرض المستمر لنوبات من الألم الحاد والصداع المستمر، مع الشعور بالدوخه وتشوش بالنظر وعدم القدرة على الإتزان أثناء المشي.

ذكر ذلك الدكتورعبدالرزاق العوجان استشاري جراحة المخ والأعصاب والعمود الفقري للأطفال رئيس الفريق الطبي المعالج، والذي أضاف بأنه فور وصول الطفل للعيادة بصحبة عائلته والسماع لشكواه، تم إخضاعه لحزمة من الفحوصات الطبية الدقيقة بأشعة الرنين المغناطيسي بالصبغة (M.

R.I) والتحاليل المخبرية ، وقد كشفت النتائج عن وجود ورم ضخم في الفص الأيمن للمخيخ يبلغ حجمه (6.7 × 5.6) سم، والذي تسبب في حدوث احتباس للسوائل وضغط شديد على خلايا جذع الدماغ المجاورة.
مفيداً بأنه تم نقل الطفل للعناية المركزة (I.C.U) وإعطائه الأدوية المناسبة للسيطرة على المضاعفات، ومراقبة حالته ومؤشراته الحيوية على مدار الساعة، وعقب استقرار وضعه الصحي والانتهاء من كامل الفحوصات ودراسة نتائجها، قرر الفريق الطبي المعالج التدخل الجراحي العاجل لإستئصال الورم وإنقاذ الطفل والحيلولة دون إصابته بمزيد من المضاعفات الخطيرة التي قد يتعرض لها لاحقاً.

مشيراً إلى أن العملية استغرقت 5 ساعات تحت التخدير الكلي، واستخدام فيها مجموعة من التقنيات المتطورة، مثل، جهاز "الملاحة العصبية" والميكروسكوب " Pentero Microscope"، وخلال العملية تم فتح الجمجمة والوصول للورم وتحريره من التصاقاته بحرص شديد، ومن ثم استئصاله، نقل بعدها الطفل للعناية المركزة (I.C.U) للمتابعة الحثيثة لحالته الصحية.
وأكد الدكتور عبدالرزاق العوجان أن جهود الفريق الطبي تكللت بالنجاح بدون أية مضاعفات، إذ تحسنت حالة الطفل منذ اليوم الأول للعملية، بعد أن تلقى رعاية طبية فائقة في جناح التنويم لمدة 4 أيام، خرج بعدها لمنزله وهو بصحة جيدة وانتهت لديه مشكلة الصداع والألم بصورة نهائية وعاد الاتزان والنظر لطبيعتهما ولله الحمد.
