تحت رعاية صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير عبدالعزيز بن سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز وزير الداخلية، دشّن صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير سلمان بن سلطان بن عبدالعزيز أمير منطقة المدينة المنورة، مبادرة المسار الذكي بالمديرية العامة للجوازات، بالشراكة مع وزارة الحج والعمرة وهيئة الحكومة الرقمية والهيئة السعودية للبيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي، في مطار الأمير محمد بن عبدالعزيز الدولي بالمدينة المنورة، بحضور معالي مدير عام الجوازات الفريق سليمان بن عبدالعزيز اليحيى.

وتهدف المبادرة إلى تطوير رحلة دخول المسافرين إلى المملكة، التي تسهم في تسهيل الإجراءات باستخدام التقنيات الحديثة والذكاء الاصطناعي للتعرف على الوجه بواسطة الكاميرات الذكية بعد التحقق المسبق من بياناتهم، ومن ثم مرورهم في المسار الذكي وإثبات تسجيل دخولهم إلى المملكة بكل يسر ودقة لتوفير الوقت والجهد.
وأكد الفريق اليحيى أن تدشين وزارة الداخلية لهذه المبادرة يأتي ضمن جهودها لتعزيز التحول الرقمي في جميع خدماتها، ولتحسين إجراءات السفر المقدمة للمواطنين والمقيمين والزائرين، والارتقاء بجودة خدمات “الجوازات” في المنافذ، وتوفير الحلول الذكية والتحول الرقمي للإسهام في تعزيز كفاءة الخدمات المقدمة، ما ينعكس على تجربة المسافر بشكل إيجابي ويحسّن من إجراءات رحلته.
