" الزراعة " تحذّر من زراعة الحمضيات في الأراضي الطينية الثقيلة -عاجل

حذّر الإرشاد الزراعي بوزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة المزارعين من زراعة أشجار الحمضيات في الأراضي الطينية الثقيلة ذات الصرف السيء، نظراً لخطورتها على صحة الأشجار وإنتاجيتها.
وأكدت الوزارة أهمية تجنب زراعة الحمضيات في الأراضي التي يقل فيها مستوى الماء الأرضي عن 120 سم، وذلك لحماية الأشجار من الإصابة بمرض التصمغ الذي يُعدّ من أكثر الأمراض الفطرية شيوعاً والتي تصيب الحمضيات، مسببةً أضراراً كبيرة قد تؤدي إلى تلف المحصول.

ونصحت الوزارة المزارعين باختيار التربة المناسبة عند زراعة الحمضيات، حيث يُفضل أن تكون التربة جيدة الصرف وعميقة، مع ضرورة الحرص على ضبط مستوى الري لتجنب زيادة رطوبة التربة حول جذور الأشجار.
وشددت على أهمية تنفيذ عمليات صيانة دورية للأشجار ومتابعة حالتها الصحية، بالإضافة إلى استخدام الأساليب الزراعية الحديثة والتقنيات المتطورة التي تساهم في تحسين إنتاجية المحصول وتقليل مخاطر الأمراض.
