استقبل صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير محمد بن عبدالعزيز بن محمد بن عبدالعزيز أمير منطقة جازان، في مكتبه بالإمارة اليوم، الرئيس التنفيذي للشركة السعودية للقهوة المهندس خالد بن ناصر أبو ذيب والوفد المرافق.
واستمع سموه لشرح مفصل من الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة القهوة، حول أهم الإنجازات والمبادرات للشركة، وعدد أشجار البن المزروعة من قبل الشركة التي بلغت أكثر من 600 ألف شجرة، وسير العمل بمشروع مصنع الشركة السعودية للقهوة بمدينة جازان للصناعات الأساسية والتحويلية، والمخطط تدشينه وبدء الإنتاج التجاري في الربع الرابع من عام 2025م.
واطلع سمو أمير منطقة جازان على خطط الشركة في تمكين مزارعي البن في المناطق الجنوبية عبر إطلاق برنامج “حصاد” التابع للشركة السعودية للقهوة الذي يعنى بتطوير زراعة البن وتمكين المزارعين بهدف زيادة الإنتاج المحلي ورفع الجودة، من خلال قيام أكاديمية الشركة المساهمة بتدريب الكفاءات الوطنية في قطاع القهوة على جميع مراحل سلاسل الإمداد.
وأشاد سموه بما تنفذه الشركة السعودية للقهوة من مشاريع تهدف إلى تعزيز جهود تطوير زراعة البن والرفع من جودته في المنطقة، وإيجاد فرص عمل جديدة لأبنائها، وتعزيز صناعة القهوة في المنطقة، مما ينعكس على تنوع الاقتصاد الوطني والإسهام في تحقيق مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
ووجه بالعمل والتعاون الجاد من قبل الشركة والجهات المعنية في مواجهة التحديات الخاصة بزراعة البن في مشاريع استدامة المصادر المائية وتوفير البنية التحتية الخاصة بزراعة البن.

وأكد سمو أمير المنطقة الشرقية أن الدولة – رعاها الله – تولي اهتمامًا كبيرًا بقطاع الأوقاف، حيث أنشأت الهيئة العامة للأوقاف لتنظيمه وتطويره وحوكمته وضمان استمراريته، بما يعزز دوره في التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والتكافل بين أفراد المجتمع، وحفظ الأوقاف وتنميتها، وأشار سموه إلى أن الأوقاف أدت عبر التاريخ دورًا رئيسيًا في توفير تمويل مستدام للعديد من الخدمات الاجتماعية والخيرية، وتشكل رافدًا مهمًا للبناء الحضاري ومصدرًا اقتصاديًا لتنمية المجتمعات.
