الكشف عن مجموعة من المخازن الأثرية داخل هرم ساحورع بأبو صير

نجحت البعثة الأثرية المصرية الألمانية المشتركة من جامعة فورتسبورغ برئاسة الدكتور محمد إسماعيل خالد والعاملة بمنطقة أبو صير، في الكشف لأول مرة عن سلسلة من المخازن داخل هرم الملك ساحورع.

وأكد د.
وأضاف د. مصطفى وزيري أنه سيتم إتاحة المخازن المكتشفة للدراسة المستقبلية فور إنتهاء البعثة من أعمالها، كما سيتم فتحها لاستقبال الزائرين من المصريين والأجانب في القريب العاجل.
ومن جانبه قال د. محمد إسماعيل خالد رئيس البعثة أنه بلغ عدد المخازن المكتشفة نحو ثمانية مخازن، لافتا إلى أنه علي الرغم من تضرر الأجزاء الشمالية والجنوبية من منطقة المخازن بشدة وخاصة السقف والأرضية، إلا أنه لا يزال من الممكن رؤية بقايا الجدران الأصلية وأجزاء من الأرضية.
وأضاف أنه تم ترميم المخازن المكتشفة وتوثيقها توثيقا أثريًا دقيقا، الأمر الذي ساهم في فهم التصميم الداخلي لهرم الملك ساحورع بشكل كبير.
هذا وقد نجح فريق العمل كذلك في الكشف عن الأبعاد الأصلية والتصميم الأصلي للغرفة الأمامية لحجرة الدفن الخاصة بالملك ساحورع، والتي تعرضت لأضرار مع مرور الوقت حيث عاني الجدار الشرقي لها من أضرار بالغة، ولم يكن بالإمكان اكتشاف سوى الركن الشمالي الشرقي و 0.30 متر من الجدار الشرقي، إلا أن البعثة قامت ببناء جدران داعمة جديدة بدلا من الجدران المهدمة.
واستطرد د. محمد إسماعيل خالد قائلا أن البعثة نجحت أيضا في الكشف عن آثار ممر منخفض كان قد ذكرها المعماري الإنجليزي "جون بيرينج" والذي يعد من أوائل المستكشفين للتصميم الداخلي للهرم عام ٬1836 حيث ذكر أن هذا الممر كان مليئًا بالحطام والقمامة وأنه لم يكن قادرًا على الدخول نظرا للحالة الانشائية المتهدمة للهرم. ومع ذلك، فقد اقترح أن هذا الممر المنخفض قد يؤدي إلى مجموعة من المخازن الخاصة بتخزين الأثاث الجنائزي.
وقد قامت البعثة المصرية الألمانية بتنظيف الممر باستخدام أحدث التقنيات، بما في ذلك المسح بالليزر ثلاثي الأبعاد باستخدام الماسح الضوئي ZEB Horizon م GeoSLAM ، وأجرى الفريق المصري الألماني بالتعاون مع فريق 3 D Geoscan مسح للمناطق المكتشفة داخل الهرم، الأمر الذي سمح برسم خرائط شاملة لكل من المناطق الخارجية الشاسعة والممرات الضيقة والغرف بداخلها.
تجدر الإشارة إلى أن البعثة الأثرية المصرية الألمانية العملة بالموقع بدأت عملها في عام 2019 من خلال مشروع الحفظ والترميم لهرم الملك ساحورع، بدعم من صندوق وقف الآثار (AEF) التابع لمركز البحوث الأمريكي في مصر (ARCE) ، بهدف حماية الاجزاء الداخلية من هرم ساحورع.
