استقبل صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز، أمير المنطقة الشرقية، في مكتب سموه بديوان الإمارة اليوم الاثنين، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة المياه الوطنية الدكتور فؤاد بن أحمد آل الشيخ مبارك، يرافقه عدد من القيادات في الشركة.
ونوه سمو أمير المنطقة الشرقية بما يحظى به قطاع المياه من دعم وتمكين من القيادة الرشيدة –أيدها الله–، والذي أسهم في توسع المنظومة وتطورها وتحسين جودة المياه المقدمة لسكان المنطقة الشرقية، وتعزيز استدامتها بكفاءة تتوافق مع الاستراتيجية الوطنية للمياه، وتسهم في تحقيق مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030.

وأوضح أن هذه المشاريع تضمنت مدّ نحو نصف مليون متر طولي من خطوط المياه الرئيسية والشبكات الفرعية، إلى جانب إنشاء 40 خزاناً بسعة إجمالية تتجاوز 1.6 مليون متر مكعب موزعة على 24 محطة ضخ، مبيناً أن هذه الحزمة من المشاريع أسهمت في الارتقاء بجودة الحياة لسكان المنطقة، فيما تواصل الشركة تنفيذ مشاريعها التطويرية لرفع كفاءة التغطية وتحسين الخدمة في جميع المحافظات والمدن.
