برعاية أمير المنطقة الشرقية.. انطلاق أعمال مؤتمر التوحد الدولي

بحضور رعاية صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير سعود بن نايف بن عبد العزيز أمير المنطقة الشرقية، تنطلق أعمال مؤتمر التوحد الدولي خلال الفترة من 20-22 نوفمبر الجاري بمعارض الظهران الدولية “إكسبو”، والذي يسعى إلى خلق منصة لتبادل المعرفة والخبرات حول الجوانب المختلفة لاضطراب التوحد، والتركيز على التقنيات الحديثة في مجال التكامل الحسي.
ويهدف المؤتمر إلى تعزيز سبل التعاون بين الجهات المعنية؛ وتحسين البيئة الطبية لمصاب اضطراب التوحد، بجانب تهيئة البيئة التعليمية لدمجه مع باقي أفراد المجتمع، وتبادل الخبرات بين الباحثين والأكاديميين والعلماء، حول الجوانب المختلفة لاضطراب التوحد وطرق تخفيف حدة أعراضه وفنيات التعامل مع المُصاب.
ومن المنتظر أن تنعقد جلسات المؤتمر على مدار 3 أيام، وستشهد إقامة 80 جلسة تشمل محاضرات وورش عمل، تدور حول كيفية تقييم وتشخيص الأطفال المصابين باضطراب طيف التوحد، وسبل التشخيص المبكر له وما يتبعه من احتياجات، كما سيتم استعراض نماذج للدول الناجحة في التعامل مع هذا الاضطراب، وتسليط الضوء على طبيعة مصاب التوحد والسلوك والمناخ الأسري الذي يجب توفيره لتخفيف أعراضه، والتحديات التي يواجها المصاب لتحقيق اندماجه مع المجتمع.

وستضم الجلسات 80 متحدثا من 20 دولة حول العالم مُمثلين في الأطباء والكوادر الصحية وأساتذة الطب النفسي المتخصصين في علاج اضطراب طيف التوحد، لتقديم علمهم ومعرفتهم للجهات المستفيدة من معلمين ومعلمات وأسر مصابي التوحد؛ الذين بدورهم سينقلون تجاربهم الحية في كيفية التعامل مع أبنائهم المصابين.
كما يقدم المؤتمر مساحة عرض تحتضن نحو 100 عارض لعرض أحدث الأبحاث والتقنيات العلاجية والاستراتيجيات الحديثة، التي تم التوصل إليها في سبل التعامل مع اضطراب التوحد، وإبراز الأدوات التعليمية المبتكرة التي يحتاجها مصاب التوحد لتخفيف مُعاناته.
