أكثر من 56 ألف شخص اعتنقوا الإسلام في المنطقة الشرقية خلال 2023

أثمرت جهود فرع وزارة الشؤون الإسلامية والدعوة والإرشاد بالمنطقة الشرقية ممثلاً بإدارة الجمعيات والمؤسسات الأهلية، الدعوية عن اعتناق أكثر من 56561 شخصًا الإسلام بالمنطقة منذ بداية العام وحتى شهر نوفمبر الجاري.
وأوضح فرع الوزارة بالشرقية أن عدد المسلمين من الرجال بلغ 41609 أشخاص، فيما بلغ عدد النساء 14952، من جنسيات آسيوية وأفريقية وأوروبية ومن دول أمريكا اللاتينية، مشيرًا إلى أن سبل دعوتهم للإسلام تنوعت ما بين محاضرات وكلمات إرشادية، ودروس وندوات علمية، وورش عمل ومبادرات وجولات دعوية في عدة مناشط ومواسم، حيث مكنت الدعاة الذين يتحدثون بلغات مختلفة من الدعوة الميدانية في عدد من الميادين تشمل الشركات والمستشفيات وأماكن تجمع العمالة الوافدة والمناطق السياحية.
يأتي ذلك في إطار رسالة الوزارة الدعوية لتوعية الناس وتبصيرهم، وبيان سماحة الدين الإسلامي الذي يدعو للوسطية والاعتدال.
