تنفيذاً لتوجيهات مدير عام الهيئة العامة للكمارك المستشار حسن العكيلي بتكثيف الجهود المبذولة من قبل أقسام التحري و مكافحة التهريب في كافة المناطق الكمركية لقطع طرق التهريب و التهرب من دفع الرسوم الكمركية .
أعلنت الهيئة العامة للكمارك اليوم السبت المصادف ٢٤ شباط ٢٠٢٤ و من خلال واجب مشترك بين قسمي التحري و مكافحة تهريب مديرية كمرك المنطقة الوسطى و مديرية كمرك المنطقة الغربية حيث تم ضبط ( ٧ ) شاحنات محملة مواد غذائية ( كيك ) ممنوعة من الاستيراد حسب الضوابط و التعليمات الصادرة.
و اشارت الهيئة في بيان لها ، انه تم ضبط الشاحنات عند مداخل محافظة بغداد بعد ورود معلومات عن محاولة تهريب مواد ممنوعة من الاستيراد .
و اكدت الهيئة، ان عملية الضبط تمت من خلال التعاون مع شعبة استخبارات كمرك بغداد و شعبة استخبارات كمرك المنطقة الغربية و شرطة الكمارك ، و تم اتخاذ كافة الاجراءات اللازمة بحق المخالفين.
