البنوك البريطانية تتخذ إجراءات ضد شركات تتعاون مع أوكرانيا

إنجلترا – تغلق البنوك البريطانية بشكل إجباري حساب شركات تتعاون مع أوكرانيا بسبب مخاوف ناجمة عن العقوبات ضد روسيا ومسائل مرتبطة بغسيل الأموال.
وجاء ذلك بحسب ما نقلته صحيفة “بوليتيكو” عن خطاب صدر عن غرفة التجارة البريطانية الأوكرانية ومجلس الأعمال البريطاني الأوكراني.
وأفاد الرئيس المشارك لغرفة التجارة البريطانية الأوكرانية باتي تومس في رسالة بتاريخ 26 يوليو 2023 موجهة إلى السكرتير الاقتصادي في وزارة الخزانة البريطانية أندرو جريفيث، بأن الشركات البريطانية “تخشى بشكل متزايد التجارة مع أوكرانيا” خوفا من أن حساباتهم معرضة للإغلاق.
كذلك أشار الخطاب إلى أن غرفة التجارة تلقت شكاوى من شركات أغلقت حساباتها البنكية أو تم رفض طلباتها لفتح حسابات بسبب التعاون مع أوكرانيا.
وذكر الخطاب أن إجراء معاملة واحدة أو صفقة واحدة مع الجانب الأوكراني قد تؤدي إلى إغلاق الحساب البنكي، كما أن البنوك البريطانية ترفض فتح حسابات بهدف تنفيذ صفقة تجارية مع أوكرانيا.
ولفت خطاب تومس إلى أن البنوك البريطانية حددت منذ عقود أوكرانيا لعملائها على أنها “اختصاص قضائي محفوف بالمخاطر لممارسة الأعمال التجارية”، لكن الوضع في أوكرانيا تحسن بشكل ملحوظ منذ ذلك الحين.
بعد إطلاق روسيا عملية عسكرية خاصة في أوكرانيا فرض الغرب عقوبات واسعة عليها، من جهتها أكدت موسكو دعمها لقطاع الأعمال المتضرر وشددت على أن القيود تؤثر على الاقتصاد العالمي ككل.
