أعلنت جمعية البر بالمنطقة الشرقية عن انطلاق برنامج زكاة الفطر الموحد للعام العالي، بالشراكة مع (43) جهةٍ أهلية، بهدف تنظيم آليات استقبال وتوزيع الزكاة، وفق إدارةٍ مركزية وإشراف محكم وضامنٍ لوصولها إلى مستحقيها في وقتها الشرعي.
وأكد الرئيس التنفيذي لـ "بر الشرقية" المهندس/ إبراهيم بن محمد أبو عباة أن البرنامج والذي أُطْلِق في العام 1436 هـ بموافقةٍ واعتمادٍ كريم من سمو أمير المنطقة الشرقية، يمثل أنموذجاً مؤسسياً رائداً في إدارة الزكاة وفق آلياتٍ تشغيلية متكاملة تجمع بين الرقمنة المرنة لأداء الزكوات، والتكامل مع القطاعات الشريكة في توزيعها وإيصالها، مشيراً إلى أن البرنامج نجح طوال أعوامه السابقة في تحقيق تحول نوعي في تنظيم آلية استقبال الزكوات وإيصالها لمستحقيها، مما عزز من كفاءة العمل الخيري وشفافيته في إنجاز الخدمة.

مُشيراً إلى اعتماد البرنامج لآلية توزيعٍ تستهدف حفظ كرامة وخصوصية المستفيد عبر أكوادٍ رقمية تُرسَل تصل لهاتفه مباشرةً بالتعاون مع (7) أسواقٍ تجارية، مؤكداً في الوقت ذاته على انعكاس رؤية "بر الشرقية" في تطوير العمل الخيري، وتحقيق التكامل بين القطاع الأهلي والجهات الشريكة، باعتبارها الجهة التنظيمية والإشرافية للبرنامج، من خلال توظيف التقنية وتحقيق أعلى معايير الحوكمة، داعياً المجتمع إلى المسارعة في توكيل البرنامج لأداء زكاة الفطر عبر القنوات المعتمدة، لضمان وصولها بيسرٍ لمستحقيها في وقتها الشرعي.
