مع الإجازة المطولة.. كثافة مرورية عالية على جسر الملك فهد

يشهد جسر الملك فهد، الرابط بين المملكة العربية السعودية ومملكة البحرين، في الوقت الراهن كثافة مرورية عالية وازدحاماً ملحوظاً، نتيجة التدفق الكبير للمسافرين المتجهين إلى البحرين لقضاء عطلة نهاية الأسبوع المتزامنة مع الإجازة المطولة الأخيرة للعام الدراسي الحالي 1446 هـ.
وأدى هذا الإقبال المتزايد إلى تكدس المركبات على امتداد الجسر، مما تسبب في فترات انتظار طويلة للمسافرين قبل تمكنهم من مواصلة رحلتهم نحو وجهتهم.

من جهتها، أكدت الجهات المختصة على أهمية اتخاذ المسافرين للاحتياطات اللازمة والتخطيط المسبق لرحلاتهم، موصيةً بمحاولة اختيار أوقات السفر التي تقل فيها حدة الازدحام عادةً.
وشددت على ضرورة متابعة المستجدات المتعلقة بحالة الطرق ومستوى الكثافة المرورية بشكل مستمر، وذلك من خلال الاستعانة بتطبيق "جسر" المخصص أو عبر زيارة الموقع الإلكتروني الرسمي للمؤسسة العامة لجسر الملك فهد، لاتخاذ القرارات المناسبة بشأن أفضل توقيت للعبور.
يُذكر أن جسر الملك فهد يمثل أحد أهم المعابر البرية في المنطقة، ليس فقط لربطه بين المملكتين الشقيقتين، بل لكونه يشهد حركة مرورية نشطة بشكل دائم على مدار العام، تبلغ ذروتها بشكل خاص خلال فترات العطلات والإجازات والمناسبات المختلفة.
