وكيل محافظ الأحساء يدشن حملة أكتوبر 2023 للتوعية بسرطان الثدي

برعاية صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير سعود بن طلال بن بدر محافظ الأحساء، دشن وكيل محافظة الأحساء معاذ بن إبراهيم الجعفري أمس الأحد، المعرض التوعوي لحملة أكتوبر 2023 للتوعية بسرطان الثدي، الذي تنظمه جمعية تفاؤل لمكافحة السرطان بالأحساء.
حضر الفعاليات رئيس مجلس إدارة الجمعية محمد العفالق، وعدد من مديري الجهات الحكومية، وأعضاء مجلس الإدارة بالجمعية والإدارة التنفيذية.
ويأتي ذلك في إطار شهر التوعية العالمي بهذا النوع من السرطان الذي يُعد من أكثر أنواع السرطانات شيوعًا بين النساء، وتركز الحملة هذا العام على التوعية بمرض سرطان الثدي، والعلامات والأعراض وعوامل الخطورة وطرق الوقاية، والكشف المبكر، وأهمية الدعم المجتمعي للمتعايشات مع سرطان الثدي.
مسيرة جمعية مكافحة السرطانوأكد العفالق، استمرار مسيرة جمعية مكافحة السرطان "تفاؤل" في رؤيتها ورسالتها الرائدة منذ عقد من العطاء، بتقديم خدمات متكاملة للمرضى، وتعزيز التوعية الصحية للوقاية من الإصابة بالمرض من خلال تقديم العديد من البرامج والمبادرات والخدمات الصحية.
وأوضح المدير التنفيذي للجمعية د. فؤاد الجغيمان، أن الحملة تنطلق في 4 محطات بمعدل 5 أيام لكل محطة، مثمنًا الدور الكبير للقيادة الرشيدة -أيدها الله- ولأمير المنطقة الشرقية ونائبه ومحافظ الأحساء، في الجهود المبذولة للعناية بمرضى السرطان.

وأشار د. الجغيمان إلى أن الهدف من الحملة هو تحسين جودة الحياة، وتقديم خدمات صحية فعالة وميسرة ونشر الوعي الصحي للمجتمع، وتعزيز الوقاية من الإصابة بمرض السرطان، وتعريف أفراد المجتمع بخدمات الجمعية وبرامجها ومبادراتها المجتمعية.
وقدم شكره إلى الداعمين وشركاء النجاح من القطاع الحكومي والخاص غير الربحي.
