جاء ذلك خلال افتتاح اجتماع الجمعية العمومية للغرفة التي انتخبت أعضاء مجلس الإدارة للدورة الخامسة عشرة 2023 ــ 2026 حيث تمت عمليات الاقتراع في خمسة مراكز انتخابية للتسهيل على الناخبين سهولة التصويت في أقرب مكان لهم.
وأضاف الشيخ سعيد الشرقي أن اجتماع الجمعية العمومية يأتي في ظل ما تشهدها الدولة من تطورات اقتصادية وخطط استراتيجية متكاملة لانجاز مشاريع الخمسين عاماً المقبلة وذلك بالتوجيهات السديدة اقيادة الدولة الرشيدة وعلى رأسها صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن زايد آل نهيان،رئيس الدولة – حفظه الله، وإخوانه صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم ، نائب رئيس الدولة ، رئيس مجلس الوزراء ، حاكم دبى رعاه الله ، وصاحب السمو الشيخ حمد بن محمد الشرقي، عضو المجلس الأعلى حاكم الفجيرة وإخوانهم أصحاب السمو الشيوخ أعضاء المجلس الأعلى حكام الإمارات.
وأوضح أن الغرفة خلال الدورة 14، حققت العديد من الانجازات منها على سبيل المثال لا الحصر تنظيم حفل بمناسبة مرور 40 عاماً على تأسيس الغرفة تحت الرعاية الكريمة لصاحب السمو الشيخ حمد بن محمد الشرقي عضو المجلس الأعلى حاكم الفجيرة وبحضور سمو الشيخ محمد بن حمد الشرقي ولي عهد الفجيرة وتم خلاله تكريم رؤساء وأعضاء مجالس الإدارات المتعاقبة والشركاء الإستراتيجيين للغرفة وذلك تقديراً لدورهم وإسهامهم في تأسيس الغرفة وتطويرها .ونوه أنه حرصاً من مجلس الإدارة على أهمية وجود كيان لرعاية سيدات ورائدات الأعمال ومتابعة شؤونهن شكل المجلس لجنة سيدات الأعمال وتم تأسيس مكتب لهن في مقر الغرفة.
وأشار إلى أن الغرفة احتفلت بتخريج الدفعة الثالثة من منتسبي البرنامج وبلغ عدد الخريجين 70 منتسباً فيما تم خلال دورة مجلس الإدارة افتتاح مركز الفجيرة للتوفيق والتحكيم التجاري بهدف تسهيل حل النزاعات التجارية للشركات والمؤسسات الانتاجية بالطرق القانونية وتقديم البرامج والدورات التأهيلية في التحكيم التجاري.
كما شاركت الغرفة في العديد من البرامج والملتقيات التي نُظمت في هذا الحدث وتم زيارة العديد من أجنحة الدول الشقيقة والصديقة كما بذلت جهوداً مقدرة في مواجهة آثار وتداعيات كورونا ما قلل من تخفيفها على قطاعات الأعمال المختلفة في الإمارة.
