مستشفى الدكتور سليمان الحبيب بالخبر يُنهي معاناة طفل من ورم عظمي بطول 6 سم في مفصل الورك

بفضل من الله، نجح مستشفى الدكتور سليمان الحبيب بالخبر، في إجراء عملية دقيقة لاستئصال ورم كبير بمفصل الورك وعظم الفخذ، كان قد تسبب في معاناة طفل يبلغ من العمر 11 عاماً. ذكر ذلك الدكتور عمار العمران استشاري طب وجراحة العظام رئيس الفريق الطبي المعالج.

T. Scan) والسينية (Digital X-rays) والتحاليل المخبرية.
وقال الدكتور العمران أن نتائج الفحوصات كشفت عن وجود ورم كبير بطول (6×4×3.8) سم في أعلى عظمة الفخذ، بالإضافة إلى كسر عظمي بنفس المنطقة، وبعد دراسة الفريق الطبي لكامل نتائج الفحوصات ، اتخذ القرار بالتدخل الجراحي العاجل، لتفادي خطورة حدوث تمدد لكيس عنق الفخذ وضُعف قشرة العظم، الأمر الذي يستدعي الدقة أثناء الجراحة، لإستئصال الورم وعمل التثبيت مع المحافظة على استقامة العظم بالشكل الطبيعي.
وأضاف الدكتور العمران أن صعوبة العملية ليست فقط في الوصول لعمل الكحت، وتحديداً مع كبر حجم كيس الورم، ولكن لأهمية التعامل مع القشرة العظمية الرقيقه القابلة للكسر ، بالإضافة إلى وجوب الحذر الشديد من عدم تمرير عملية التثبيت، على مركز النمو في رأس عظمة الفخذ، حتى لا يتأثر نمو الطفل مع مرور الوقت.
وعن العملية قال الدكتور العمران بأن الجراحة استغرقت 3 ساعات متواصلة تحت التخدير العام، وتم فيها استئصال الورم بالكامل مع عمل كحت للكيس العظمي ، بالإضافة إلى استخدام عظم تطعيمي وزراعته، نقل بعدها الطفل إلى غرفة التنويم، إذ بينت المؤشرات الحيوية تحسن حالته منذ الساعات الأولى بعد العملية.
